Can hold up to 100kg load capacity

well, that rules out most australians …

i think milk crates can do better than that?

    • +3

lol i use a old milk crate and im 109kg

    • +3

I plan to use one foot at a time

    • Strong aluminium……

    • +4

Buy two, one for each leg

    • Milk crates, the most multipurpose and useful stuff since it's invention.

  • Nice work, snapped one up. Cheers

Officeworks still have this one advertised for $8 but good luck finding stock http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/3-step-stee…

    • Pakenham, VIC supposedly has limited stock.

      • Most cases limited stock means no stock.

        • Possibly, or it could be a damaged return that hasn't been recorded properly, or limited stock as it says. Only one way to find out.

        • @stebie: Possibly, but I posted the deal about 3 months ago when these were $12. There would not be many remaining.

    • +1

ironically, it's about a 3-step process to try and find out if Officeworks have stock of a 3-step ladder

      • +2

actually - the 3 step process I find happens too often is the following:

        1) - check online to see if your local Officeworks store has the item
        2) - ring the store to make sure it is actually there in case the computer stock level was incorrect
        3) - then it's just a simple next step of turning up to the store to be told sorry they have none

100KG seems way to light. I weigh 95KG and I could easily imagine carrying objects heavier than 5Kgs.
Lots of blokes just couldn't use this.

    • +9

Lots of blokes just couldn't use this.

Rules out most women nowadays too.

      • +4

Well some women make an effort to stay trim.
        But yah, fatties…

      • +7

What world do you live in where most males and females weigh over 100kg???

        • +7

That would be called Australia, we are an obese nation don't forget

        • +2

          STRAYA mate!

The national average was 86kg in 2011-12 and we've got fatter since then.

Therefore you'd have to assume that heaps of males are over 86kg, and a significant number are over 100kg.

It's probably only the recent imports of "less full framed" nationalities who are tending to keep the average down.

        • @TRENT86: Average male weight is 85kg and female is 71kg from what I read.

        • @tryagain: that was 2011-2012 average by the looks of it so that's probably blown out further by now

        • +2

          @llama:

          Hey, I'm not fat.
          Just big boned.

        • +1

          @tryagain:

That is ridiculous! WE ARE TOO FAT

        • @TRENT86:

We're the least compared to 'Murica

off-topic - did you see the new deal for KFC's tower stacker burger!!!

        • @Bacchus: She lives in hope

    • Most items have a factor of safety of 2.. avoid jumping up and down and you'll be fine

      • +2

Agree but don't like to mess around with heights.
What you going to say if it fails @125KG.
"Oh I didn't really think the 100KG limit was serious"?

Family members injured in a fall doing plastering - took years to recovery.

        • +2

Live life a little escape the nanny state

  • Ah I'd so get one, but sadly not enough room in my house :(

    • +3

Use this to take advantage of the ceiling space? :P

  • +2

    It's time to galvanise:)

    • +1

      Don't hold back!

  • Thanks op, needed this for quite sometime

  • How high is the highest step?

    • +8

      this high

    • +2

Can't find this exact model but other ones with the same capacity and similar look have a top step around 650mm.
      http://lion.net.au/product/step-ladder-3/

Makes sense because the total height is given as 132.5cm and the top step is about halfway.

    • If you are still wondering about this, the very top step (ie. Step #3) is approx. 70cm or 700mm from the ground when the step ladder is in the open position.

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Ordered one.

  • +1

Thanks OP, Ordered one and saved me a further $2.16 using staff discount. paid $19.44 :)
    needed one anyways…… great

  • +1

    Cheers ordered one

  • +1

    Good deal, ordered one. Thanks

  • +4

Well just picked mine up, seems pretty good and is certainly light weight at 3.8kgs

    • +3

Sounds like a step up from the previous deals…

  • Similar "specs" ladder at Bunnings for $18.99 regular price.

    http://www.bunnings.com.au/syneco-100kg-2-step-steel-folding…

    • +4

But it has 33% less step count… Wouldn't really say that's 'same spec'

    • Quality wise I think they are also in different leagues

  • i heard Faulkner 4 is secretly in development and is gonna be announced soon. it'll pretty much look and feel exactly the same as this one though with a few minor improvements.

    • +3

that sounds like top shelf advice. Thanks for telling us. We'll keep it on the down low. I'm sure it will come out when it's ready. The constructors just need to take it one step at a time.

      • +4

Your puns are a step above everyone elses. It's like a next level type thing!

        • +3

I've been working on them ever since I was a young ladd…er yes I think that's right

        • +3

          @shmahoo:

Just watch out, what goes up must come down

    • .. hopefully v4 is a step-up from this one ..

  • Apparently this was advertised in the local paper today. Was trying to organize someone else to go out to the store with me last night and they balked. Only realized today I could order it online and then just pick it up whenever. I've got my order in and fingers crossed that "ready for pickup" email/sms shows up in the next couple of days. Not sure why I didn't think of just ordering it last night.

    • confirmation received. they must have a tonne of these ladders or something. This is at the Fyschwick, ACT store

  • +1

  • +1

    Thanks OP.. bought 1

  • where do you get milk crates? i want to get one

  • Anyone find their ladder doesn't sit quite flat on the floor(wonky)?

  • +1

Ladder is still available at $24, it is only the FRESH10 voucher that has finished

    • The masters website was down last night since 11pm, I have put everything I need in the cart and applied FRESH10 coupon, however it just won't let me check out and kept time out. I sent an email to customer service before mid-night regarding this issue, do you think they can give me another code to get 10% off today? Having received any response yet.

  • +1

Collected mine, not a bad product for $20. Wouldn't have been that excited at the original price. Always wanted a cheapy step ladder for just that extra height changing bulbs etc. Folds nice and flat and is pretty light when you are carrying it about. Wouldn't want to be too much over 100kg using this! I'm 6'3" and a wee bit over 100kg but I think it will be alright for short periods of time, it's not that high anyway.

  • I may want to get something from masters on clearance it's not online but wondering if any codes etc I can use in store just think it make the deal sweeter if I got it for even less.
