  • SurfStitch e-Gift Card is only available for redemption online at www.surfstitch.com and expires 01/01/16. We have reduced the number of points for this item as it has to be redeemed and then used by 1st January 2016.

  • +1

i've used surfstitch e gift cards before during the sales. it's fine. sometimes you'll get some issues if you use more than 1 e gift card in the same transaction but just open up live chat and they sort it out real fast

  • Spotted this just now, much better option than the Coles one was. Kids, adults, accessories, lots of stuff and not just surf. I'll be cashing in my voucher for a nice shiny new watch.

A nice deal to wake up to and how this is low on votes is beyond me.

Edit - with the contiki30 code I managed to get an extra $80 off a watch. Free $250 plus watch .

    • much better option than the Coles one was

because obviously you could just use the coles gift card only at coles lol..

      • This one was double the amount…

        • because it expires soon.
and you've got a whole lot less flexibility with spending it. you also can't stack this with the $25 off voucher they email you from time to time

        • @tdw:
          Double
          The
          Amount

Also the 25$ voucher is a trick anyway, it requires the item to be full price and needs you to spend I over $80. Better off using the %30 off sale code that hits sale and full price items. I don't rate the expiry thing as most deals here are over on the day, this gives you now until new year, plenty of time.

This bagged me a $259 watch and I've still go ~$20 left in the voucher.

Clothing and fashion never does well here, this is a good example of that I guess, or maybe an reflection of the market that actually has 2000 Coke rewards points…

        • @mackaxx:
tl;dr ozbargainers will prefer putting food on the table, recharging their phones and filling up their cars vs overpriced (even at 30% off) surf/skate-branded fashion.

        • @tdw: again, double, the, amount….. A $200 gift card for the price of a $100. With a double the value gift card one could say it was an additional 50% off on top of the 30 of you buy something that's over the $200 mark. In my case $180 off a $260 watch. Sounds good to me, especially with Christmas on the way.

And ozbargainers prefer to spend their money on techy junk they don't need anyway, as is evident by what gets up voted and the intense popularity of the Coke rewards jb cards as that's the space we are playing in here.

I can now use that saving (as I was looking to buy a watch and some clothes) to fill my car up, pay for groceries and charge my phone.. A clever broden could also sell whatever they'd bought on eBay for a good profit.

        • @mackaxx: lol keep repeating it all you want but "double the amount" means stuff all when what you're buying is already overpriced.

        • @tdw: except it's not.

And one could say the same about the prices at Coles and jb

        • @mackaxx: hate to burst your bubble mate, but when they're very regularly having a x% off storewide sales, it's plain obvious they aren't moving stock at their usual laughable prices.

        • @tdw: Sounds a lot like a supermarket..

I know it's the sales model, but it's much much better than the bricks and mortar equivalent prices.

And of course I got a $200 voucher for the price of an $100 one.

        • @mackaxx: don't know any supermarkets with storewide sales…any on planet Earth?

And of course I got a $200 voucher for the price of an $100 one.

          thank you. i keep forgetting.

        • @tdw:

          Glad to help,

Also Woolworths online is a great example of store wide Discounts with 5% off woollies giftcard promotions facilitating storewide discounts for us and things like $20 off $200 orders, effectively 10% off.

          Can't say I've ever gotten a $200 woollies gift card for $100 though ;)

        • @mackaxx: oh you're hilarious. it'd be like surfstitch saying, buy our gift cards, spend at least $200 before you even think about getting $20 off your order, and that will effectively be 5% storewide.

remind me again which servos i can use my surfstitch voucher at..? i has amnesia..

        • @tdw:
So many straw men here we should invest in corn.

And to be more accurate it would be like getting 5% off and then if you spend $200 getting an extra 10% off, $20 being 10% of $200 and all that….Totals up to 15% off.

Luckily all that's not what I'm talking about here, it's getting a $200 voucher for the price of a $100 one being an awesome deal that's much better than the other ones everyone else blew their points on earlier whilst missing out on this one,

Not that they're bitter or anything…

        • @mackaxx: ooh clever, claims someone else has made a logical fallacy while making one themselves.

no need to be salty because your favourite store isn't as popular with others. even though i plus voted this deal, as i do with most surfstitch posts.

who said anything about missing out? i know the only thing you've got going for yourself is trying to make others feel inferior. you're more hilarious than jv. i could've bought four of those surfstitch vouchers with my tokens so please don't worry that i missed out or anything. i was only saving them for you :-*

  • I didn't say it was just you scaring off the crows (I did say we should both invest after all) but I have to say you should probably be entitled to more of the profits.

Just trying to work out now what exactly has you so vehemently opposing the awesomeness of getting a $200 gift card for the price of a $100 one comparative to a boring old Coles one at normal price.. (Had I forgotten to mention the double the amount bit maybe?). And to do so in an obscure ozbargain thread no one else cares about to boot. If it's not annoyance at missing out then what exactly is it. Work for Coles maybe? A passion for phone recharges and petrol? Too much cola facilitated sugar and caffeine in the blood maybe? I dunno,

For me it's the shits and giggles, keeps me occupied settling a baby, maybe you've got small kids too and nothing better to do?
