For those that aren't familiar, Kaspersky is an absolutely top-class consumer grade Anti Virus.

At this price, for 3 PC's, it's an absolute steal.

    Has anyone got this on win 10?

    I downloaded the latest version from Kaspeywhatever website and it wont run n Win 10

      What version is it?

      Do you get any errors or messages on installation?

      Note that only Kaspersky 2016 will run on Windows 10. Previous versions will not.

    You will need to install the trial version then insert your activation key. Offcourse wait till the trial period is over = 13 months for $8

      Yes. The 12 months begins when you activate the key, not when you purchase it.

    How fast are peoples Kaspersky updates going? Mines going super slow even though I have like 50-60mbps, updates go at snails pace for some reason

    Sorry probably a silly question but I currently use AVG free - is Kaspersky a superior product? I've never had any issues with AVG free but would appreciate info.

    If I bought 2 Licenses, could I hold on to one for 12 months and use it when the other runs out?
    I'm pretty much over AVG free, it has become too intrusive for my liking. Though I shouldn't complain, I had many years good use from the program until now.

      I'm not 100% sure about that.

      I've been told my some suppliers that they keys DO have an expiry date, but never been able to tell me how long. I suspect that they don't actually expire prior to activation, or if they do, it is a very long time period.

      Yep, AVG is absolute rubbish.

    Still not sure what the go is with the new stock/pricing.

    I spoke to Gavin from SaveOnIT earlier today (about 12pm) and he said new stock will be arriving this afternoon. Not sure if they have arrived yet, or if they will be at $12 or $8

    Remember back in 2002 picked up a virus via macros in MS Word document. Kaspersky had an alert with a squealing pig sound. Such a nostalgia.
    Actually if anyone interested you can use free utility by one of the guys who works with Kaspersky. It is called AVZ and used to find trojan, keyloggers in your system. http://www.z-oleg.com/secur/avz/download.php

    Curious if anyone has been given their keys? PayPal payment came out however when logging into their site it shows nothing in "My Orders" on their website

    I had to reinstall windows 10 three times because of this software… Now, I just use windows defender (whatever its called) and malwarebytes.

          Kav has been around since i started using it in about 1997.

          It has been selling non stop ever since.

          I have been using it virtually non stop since approx 1997 when it was a DOS GUI.

          Everything else like Kis, Pure etc came later.

          Kaspersky products have always been at the top or very close to the top in independent detection tests since around 1997.

    If I install and activate the key on 1 PC now, and activate the remaining 2 licences on 2 other PCs 3 months later, will I only get 9 months out of the last 2 computers?

      Yes. The 12 months starts when you first activate the key on any single device.

    I just got mine from Good Guys then (plenty of stock) but when I try to register the code in the box, on the Kaspersky website - it says invalid code. Am I the only one?
