    I never knew you could have a bike light worth $300 (saving $200)! Is there really that much difference between lights to justify such a price I wonder?

      An HID system would be worth $300.

      The Minewt is only 110 lumens, compared to ~800 lumens for some other LED bike lamps.

      I got a good Cree torch, batteries, charger and bike mount. total < $50.
