    Very similar, I'd say the Surface 3's edges this one out with viewing angles and vibrancy. This is an older generation IPS panel.

  if it has lollipop, that makes it better value than the samsung tabs, if they are getting marshmallow …… that blows the samsung tabs away for the money, and this is FHD

    Ok looks like I overlooked a bargain a week or so ago. Telstra shop Rundle mall had 2x Z2 cellular for $299 each. Not enough stock to post as bargain and given that it's 2 gens behind, I didn't bother with it. Seems I should have picked one up. 8-(.

  Thanks OP! Really tempted! On the ebay page it says expandable to 128GB instead of 64GB. Maybe it's due to system upgrade?

  I have one of these tablets. Great device for everyday use. Battery lasts for days. The water & dust resistance is good for kids use (protected against spills, sand, dust etc). Sony UI is easy to use and fast (when compared to Samsung & other Android tablets). SD card is expandable to 128GB with Lollipop 5.0.1 update (Marshmallow is coming… apparently) For that price, it's a great buy for the kids for Xmas.

  Would these be better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 LTE for a 6yo and 8yo? Thinking of returning them to DSE and getting these, as they might be more durable.
