  Movie Network always does the '2 Weeks Free' promo at this time each year, because their channels are showing some big events like Tropfest (short film comp) & The Oscars.

  Man, the only reason I wanna get Foxtel is because of NBA and Cricket. But on the minimum that's almost 60 bucks. Something like a basic package is 40+ and the sports is another 20.

  great! i couldnt justify buying the movie channels because i dont get to spend that much time in front of the TV, but with iQ I can record 2 weeks worth of movies - which will be enough viewing for me for a few months..

    Just have to delete some of the movies we saved last time they did this…

    Unfortunately after the 2 weeks the movies will still be there on your IQ but you won't be able to view them!

    You can only view things on IQ that you are subscribed too.

  Can't see how this rates as a bargain….and a freebie??? Yeah, maybe if you are forking out for the 60 bucks a month.

    I'd regard this as an Awesome Freebie!! I never bother looking at the Movie Channels, and would have missed this if it wasn't for this posting!

  Can't get any movie channels on Fox either. Get it via Optus-does this make a difference? (Rather than direct with Foxtel)

  i have foxtel via optus as well and i don't have the free movies channel as well does anyone else have the same issue?
