Even if majority here will attack me now, nearly 32 inch with only full hd? I would think twice about it, i am using 27inch with full HD and even that is already not to great.

I agree with you. The pixel density is way too low for desktop purposes. Unless you intend to use it like a TV (viewing from afar), then it's no good.

    • 100% agreed with you, for 27 inch, 2k is perfect. For 32 inch, I prefer 4K.

    • It depends what you're using the monitor for but I personally think this is garbage.

      For photo/video work I'd go with a 27" 1440p IPS/PLS monitor for ~$600-650 over the curved screen.

For gaming I'd go with a much cheaper 1080p 144hz 24" over the curved screen.

      • Which you'd recommend for photo/video work?

        • I picked this up about 12 months ago for ~$580. I bought it because it was a relatively good monitor for the price and I didn't want to wait for the Dell ultrasharp to come on sale.

It's very good but you will want to use spider or some monitor calibrator to adjust default colour profiles. As stated in the review no sRRGB emulation means your colours will be overly saturated on yours as default (which looks amazing) but then when you look at them on other monitors or prints the colours are less vibrant so you need to either calibrate to adjust for this or bump up you sat/vib in PS/LR. This can be fixed by tweaking colour profiles.

    • Ya for a wow factor and movie experience is better to get one of these.

      LG IPS 29" Ultra Widescreen 2560x1080 Monitor $399 + Shipping @ MSY

    • Agreed, I'm using a 27 inch too as a desktop monitor. Since you sit so close it's not really optimal for 1080p due to the lower pixel density compared to a typical 24 inch.

Obviously fine if your viewing from a further distance, but you tend to be pretty close if it's a desktop monitor.

    • nearly 32 inch with only full hd?

It depends on your eyesight. Bigger screen can mean longer viewing distance with same res. and no reading glasses needed.
As for curved, I cannot possibly think of a rationalisation.

  • This is more an expensive TV than computer monitor.

  • 1080P on a 31.5" monitor? Yea no thx.

  • Sony released its 4K-display smartphone not long ago… How likely could people be satisfied with this FHD res 31.5" display?

    • That's an extreme into the other direction. Wouldn't know any hardware strong enough to power that. Let alone no apps and battery time

  • This monitor often pops up at 2nds world for $529.

But yeah, overpriced considering you can get a 32 inch 1080p TV for less than this.
