      1. 8 boxes of PureVision Sphere or PureVision Toric Contact Lenses (3 lenses in a box); or

      • Thank you for clarifying for me bs41990. When you purchase the contact lenses they will have a lot # on them which is unique to purevision contact lenses supplied in Australia.

      • Their price is already cheaper without moneyback!

  • Thanks for the heads up on this offer AJones - especially stating in your post that the offer is not exclusive to Contact Connections even though you are a rep.

Any chance you can do a deal and throw in free shipping or something? :) I would be a new customer and am interested in switching to you guys.

    • We love a bargain as much as everybody else so we are always happy to post something for the ozbargain community!

We'll throw in free contact lens solution + case with all 12 months purevision orders.

      • Great thanks! I take it we just mention Ozbargain in the order?

  • Thanks AJones! that's amazingly cheap, and I'm already paying $500+ for a 12month supply at my local opto.. contact connection prices are already better than what I'm currently paying, but I have to ask… does anyone know a cheaper online source?

AALENS Doesn't look like an Australian busniess so for me, I'd prefer to get it from Contact Connection (although I didn't) as you can claim on it with your health insurance. This seems to be a recurring theme in contact lens posts!

Besides that, the site looks dodgy as. At least you know AJones is contactable if you've never purchased from him before.

        • Thanks for the plug. I have mentioned his a few times before and yes if you purchase contact lenses from us you will be issued with a provider number which you may use to claim a rebate from your health insurance. We also have a health fund calculator when you place an order, which gives you an estimate of how much out-of-pocket expenses you'll have.

          • @AJones: Hi Ajones,

I bought from Contact Connection late last year as I was running low on my disposables. When I tried to claim on my health insurance in January (when I started using the lenses) they said I couldn't get any rebate as the invoice was for last year (where I had no optical cover left on my policy). I emailled you guys to see if I could get re-invoiced for this year, but never got a reply. It sounds a little shady to me but it's what the lady at the health insurance place told me to do. I was just wondering if that's at all possible (in which case I will chase up the email and keep pestering you guys ;) or whether it's something that can't be done (in which case I'll just leave it).

            cheers.

            • @salem: Thank you for your support Salem. Unfortunately we can only invoice you for the date you purchased your contact lenses changing the invoice is illegal on our behalf - Strange the lady at the health insurance company would ask you to request something like that.

        • For insurance purposes you can always use Australian retailer.

I used aalens.com before and many others as well. You can check online retailers reputation on resellerratings.com.

    • Please let me know if there is an Australian online retailer cheaper then our prices and I will adjust ours accordingly. We have already done most of the work for you and compared our prices to other online stores to ensure our prices are lower. This is the case for all contact lens products supplied by us.

  • Do you accept payment via paypal?

    • +1

Unfortunately not as yet. We do accept visa, mastercard, amex and direct debit transfers.

  • Visiondirect.com.au has Australian presence with Sydney Address and Phone number and they sell much cheaper than the price of the OP. Even their price is cheaper without moneyback.

    • Not dealt with Visio0ndirect before but their delivery says "Ships within 7 to 14 days" so it could be some time.

I ordered from a different site which promised "in stock" and paid for express delivery. Ended up taking nearly two months as they import them from the US!

By contrast I now use eyesonline and they have delivered within 2 days of me ordering, both times. Don't know how their prices compare with the others mentioned here though but each time so far I got 1 month free.

  • I am assuming these are not daily disposable lenses?

    • Purevision lenses are monthly contact lenses approved for continuous wear up to 30 days (under the guidance of your optometrist only).
