The Black Friday sales left me very disgruntled. Used to be somewhat good now you can't get any good deals because shipping and conversion eats away at your bargains.
We had a good run for a few years.
An OK deal but myself I'd rather pay the extra $40 and get local stock. These cards have come up a few times recently at around this price but as local stock using the eBay $50/$100 voucher deals.

Yeah, this isn't really a deal and you can pick up a G1 390 for the same price which imo is better.
The Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals were pretty rubbish this year - last year I managed to pick up a aftermarket 290 for 240 from Amazon.
But free game worth over $50 as well. but yeah some people might not have the money to pay higher for a 970. anyway is it better to buy used GPUs? I bought one used couple years back never had problems with it but I dont know about these days
Design of this kind of heat sink + fan combo is going to be noisy. Someone tell me I'm wrong. I've avoided these designs for years now.
You want ones with multiple bladed fans.
Can't say I notice the sound of the GPU fan over the front fan on my Thermaltake Core V1.

Hmm it's not that noisy, although I do have it on a custom fan profile as it's in my entertainment unit and I wanna make sure everything stays cool in there!
