Plus the upscailing on 4k TV's makes everything look better anyway so, it's a no brainer getting a 4k today especially for a 65" tv.

@Micoa: Check the pds. Most platinum CCs do, I had a quick look and couldn't see any info on it on the coles website, so possibly not.
Also note for people who buy from jb hifi, the tvs they sell come with a additional years warranty on top of the manufacturers warranty. Sales guy told me this when a bought a tv from them in the weekend. Also i know he is not lieing because i recently had a 2 year old samsung tv die and it was replaced for free.
I have to admit im pretty dissapointed with the overall thickness of this TV, its 78mm my 4 year old Sony comes in at 35mm, also to note, the power supply is external, more tailored towards those that dont wall mount the TV.

It's not the size that counts, it's how you use it.
65W850C has long duct speakers with subwoofer, the sound quality is way better than those super thin TVs.

So it's not possible to purchase online (for WA anyway) - site keeps coming up with the inventory error when trying to connect with DickSmiths - have tried all morning and keep getting the error. Waited on hold for 30mins and spoke to DJs support who said they also couldn't get information from Dicksmiths and was told to go in-store and they'd price match it.
The Perth CBD store price matched it from 2159 to 1835.15 and also matched the free delivery (which was normally $30 although the flyer in store says $98). There is 1 new item left in DJs Perth city. The boxes are on the floor near the counter not in the back room. Their system shows no stock but there was 1 on display and 1 new in box.
Downside is you can't use cashrewards
I brought this tv on the weekend from David Jones, it was priced for $2159.00, however, they had a promotion if you used your DJ store card you would get further 20% off, ended up to be $1619.00 with free delivery on line. I went into the Robina, Qld store and convinced this was the case and place it on 36 months interest free.
I only now realised it was a bargain, sorry did not realise this was active at the time!
