  yeh saw the citibank one where the min. investment is $25,000.
  With UBank u can invest min of $1000.
  Easy to sign up, just do it online and transfer funds by Bpay.
  Plus with Ubank u get 0.10% p.a. loyalty bonus when you choose to rollover 100% of your term deposit.
  Im sure there are other better term deposit offers out there, but i like Ubank offer.

  Bank of QLD has been offering this rate for a 6 month deposit for at least 30 days so far. $1000 minimum deposit, so this Ubank deal isn't that great. Competitive but nothing above the ordinary. And less restrictions for self managed superfunds.

  well CBA has 6.3& p.a for 8mths if you apply via their netbanking (min 5K)..

  Rural Bank has 12m @ 6.80% and they are a great bank !

  With the Federal Government withdrawing its wholesale funding guarantee in March, I would expect smaller banks to fight to attract term deposit customers. UBank offered 6.06% on a 6 month TD just two weeks ago, before raising to 6.16% and 6.26% now.

  It's a good time to be a saver.
