    Link says $100.62

How do you get the $20 off? Is there a code?

    • +3

read the first couple lines maybe?

  • use VISA checkout to pay, reduce $20 for every single transaction over $30.
try to combine with clubcatch, buy something over $50 for free shipping and pay only $30 with VISA checkout.

  • i don' know why my trial is 1 month, register on 14/11 and expire on 13/12

  • I highly recommend this toothbrush. My teeth felt like i'd had a dentist clean after i started using it.
I usually hate brushing my teeth but dont mind with this

did you come from an electric brush? I just purchased this to replace my oral b 5000 which was barely holding charge any more. Hopefully it's as good or better!

      • +1

        Yep, it'll be better :)
The sonic thing is awesome. Buzzes like a fly's wings.

        • awesome! can't wait!

  • Is this deal over? It says $129 on the page - $20 from Visa checkout and $10 from Herald 29 = $100?

    • +1

Yeah I'm seeing $129 too. Was $109 before I added it to cart!

      • When did you add it to cart? I have an idea.

        • +1

About 10 mins ago I think. What's your trick?

        • @cynix: Livechat and complain.

        • +1

          @minMaxRNG: Thanks, that worked!

  • Damn….gone back up now!!

  • Well if anyone is interested. I received mine yesterday, box seal was broken but the contents were shrink wrapped and looked factory sealed. It comes with a 60 day cash back offer from Philips (says 28 days on the card, but this model is eligible for 60 days. I intend to try it out for that period then decide if I will keep it. Make sure you set a reminder, as you just need to make the claim before 60 days then you have 30 to return it.

    First impressions:
When I put it on to charge I couldn't tell if it was working. The light is very faint in my bright bathroom, this is contrast to my oral b triumpth 5000 which is very bright and visible. I actually changed sockets before I realised it was blinking (indicating it was charging). The charging base is quite flimsy as well, although it's very similar to the oral b, the part the handle sits on is very small and thin and doesn't really support it. A slight knock or tap will topple it over.

The brush is also very small which I think is a plus, it feels like I can reach every surface of my teeth. I'm not really sure if I'm getting a better clean and from some quick googling, there seems to be more clinical research backing the oral b vs sonicare (not sure if oral b funded those studies or not).

It does feel like im getting a decent clean, but I'm not entirely sure it's as effective as oscillating brush. If the research is to be believed, then the sonicare is simply not as effective as removing plaque as the oral b.

My final thoughts are i'll give this a try for another 50 days or so, but unless i see some kind of drastic difference in my teeth (whiter or if my dentist thinks i have less build up) i'll ultimately be going back to the oral b.

Interested to hear what others think!
    Cheers

    • Thanks for your feedback. I purchased it to but still waiting for it to arrive as I only got it yesterday.

I purchased going by a review from - this guy: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/219201 first post on that link from a dentist sold me so it can't be that bad.

      • No problem, i thought it might be helpful for someone deciding but i'd be interested to hear what others think, so please let me know once you try yours out. I'm more concerned about how well this tooth brush performs in terms of plaque removal and I get the feeling that it just can't compete with a oscillating tooth brush (e.g. the oral b).

        • Previously I had the Oral B Professional Care 500.

Should definitely better than that right?

        • @treeman: I'm not too sure to be honest! I think both would be pretty effective might just depend on how you brush. I know the sonicare is very gentle on teeth and gums so that could be a plus. I guess i just want the best one for plaque removal, and I'm leaning towards the oral-b.

        • @poop:

Hmm okay well I suppose I have the full 60 day cash back too if I don't think it's as good.

How much is the oral B one?

        • @treeman:

Okay I've been using it for a week.

I'm most impressed with the battery life so far with it still nearly fully charged after a week of 2 people using.
I feel like it is giving a nice clean my teeth feel good but hard to say about the plaque removal.
I have just used the top setting when using it had a brief exploration with the others.
The light on the toothbrush is cearly bright enough as far as I'm concerned not sure what you are experiencing as I can see it fine.
