Coffee without burnt taste thanks to 100% ceramic grinders
This espresso machine is equipped 100% ceramic grinders. Saeco uses ceramic grinders because of their consistent grind without overheating the coffee bean for an impeccable espresso. Ceramic also ensures long-lasting performance and a totally silent operation.

Preparing a tasty cappuccino is easy with this Saeco espresso machine thanks to the automatic milk frother, which baristas also call “cappuccinatore”. The milk frother will draw milk directly from a milk carton or jug and froth it automatically, dispensing it directly into your cup. With just one touch you will instantly get a delicious and creamy froth.

    any experts?

I've owned the previous model of Saeco and currently own the same DeLonghi model, I would go for DeLonghi. It is much easier to clean and the build quality seems better. Saeco is not bad as well, mine broke down after about 4 years.

      • Thanks for the feedback, happy surprise $50 cash back card for the Delonhi. Bought

I bought a DeLonghi ESAM3500 about 9 years ago. Was good machine, easy to maintain.
After some years, the thermoblock burnt out, so I bought a new part and replaced it.
That only lasted a little over a year, but I managed to scavenge a free thermoblock from another machine.
That burnt out too (after not too long either) so retired the machine finally.

It had a pretty good run though I think, having daily use.

I've only used one of the old (pre Philips) Saecos so probably not fair to compare.
