  • Nice timing. I just had a headlight blow. So I can just show my RACQ card for the discount? (The website isn't very helpful)

    • +1

      Yep :)

  • they don't check validity either in my experience. I showed a card that expired YEARS ago haha

    • That's what I'm wondering about. I don't have their membership but the image implies they also take NRMA cards (or you can buy the membership for $5?)? I'm in the market for a new battery so I might give them a try tomorrow, but I've never shopped there so unsure if they're competitive or willing to recommend a battery for my car (ie how good their customer service is).

Ok… repco has some really bad views and some have even been told the promotion doesn't apply to batteries (exlucions only say "deep cycle batteries"). Going to be hit or miss.

      • Bought a battery today, RRP$260+, showed card but only 5% discount total $251. No 30%. SCA sells $219. Autobarn has supercharge for $179. NRMA $298 delivered and installed. Bought in Repco as It is needed.

        • I went in today and got some shitty service. Then I finally brought the battery to buy it and the guy said he wouldn't honour it as it doesn't include batteries. This is despite the incorrect grammar of the ad suggesting that it is only "deep discharge" batteries that are excluded.

I then went to Peps and got much better service and got a battery that was $50 cheaper. (profanity) Repco and I regret posting this deal. :(

        • @watwatwat: lol first time I heard an OP regrets to post a sh1tty deal. The repco guy served me was actually quite friendly but can't override the sh1tty computer because of the sh1tty ad or he will lose his shi1tty job.

    • Last time they had 25% off they actually scanned my RACV card. That was a few months ago!

    • I use my racv 'free-to-go' card which doesn't have an expiry date, only a membership start date. When my free roadside assistance ended I didn't renew but can still use all the 'show your card and save discounts'. That's a win!

  • Does VIP card work also with these weekends?

    • Unfortunately not..

      • did they catch on to every man and his dog signing up for the VIP even though they weren't affiliated

Excludes "equipment". That's a bit open ended isn't it?

  • do u think they sell hex keys?

    • yes they do

  • +1

It makes me so angry they still don't have a decent website.

If anyone here works for Repco please copy the price list and upload it

    • +1

It wouldn't surprise me if they set their prices individually per shop

      • Super cheap do in some regional stores. Whyalla store was different to my local store in Vic. Repco really need to get an online store happening, I'd shop there if I could see prices online.

  • Havent been into a repco for a while, do they sell pressure washers?

  • +2

Parts can be ridiculously expensive at repco. Bought a valve cover gasket at the last 30% off sale, and it was still $20 more expensive than supercheap autos normal price.

  • +1

Yo Repco! Update your website, it's not 2001 anymore!

  • Does not apply to automotive marine & deep cycle batteries
so can i still buy a normal car battery and get 30% off?

Edit just looking at the way it is worded maybe all are excluded.

    • Automotive batteries are car batteries.

      • yeah the way i first reading i was assuming they were all the deep cycle ones but figured it out.

        • I thought exactly the same thing. Their (profanity) retarded grammar doesn't convey it accurately.

  • As customers , We are paying at least 9-10 % franchise fee+5 % marketing fee extra even after discount rate applied as Repco parts retailers are franchisees :)

    • Ripco then?
