Accor hotels has a 40% Private Sale starting today for Le club members (free to join) and 50% off for Accor plus members.
Valid for stays from 28/11until 28/2 and at participating hotels.
Unlike the last sale which had limited countries and only 170 participating hotels in the asia pacific, this sale is world-wide.

Combine with the offer of x2 le club points on weekdays and x3 points on weekends (asia pacific only)-must register via this link to be eligible http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/leclub/hotels-offers/promotion…
Generally, points return 5% of your hotel spend back in Le club points ( for classic members), so x2 increases this to 10% and x3 increases it to 15%.

    50 % off is always off the flexible rate and is generally not available during peak times. There are plenty of 50% off deals in December in Melbourne and sydney

  OP, might be worth updating your post to reflect that the sale is only 50% off for Accor Advantage Plus members - for everyone else, it's actually advertised as 40% off (though as others have mentioned, the discounts seem few and far between - I've looked at month by month availability for several properties advertised as part of the sale (Adelaide Hills and Barossa being two of them), and can't find any change to rates I looked at a few days ago!

      I have searched for hotels in melbourne and bangkok and can see quite a few participating in December. Pullman Melbourne on the park is 50% at $104.50 and novotel Melbourne on Collins has 50%off some rates as well.
      In Sydney, no votes darling harbor has rooms for $120-150.

    Le clubs facebook page state that it is 50%off for le club members. Where have you seen that it is 40%off? It could be from an previous sale as advantage plus has changed its name to accorplus.

      The text on the official Accor facebook page and the info in the link above clearly state "up to 40% off" for Le Club members.

      Are you referring to a different sale?

The official Accor one's most recent post about this deal was at 11.20 am yesterday. it states: "NOVEMBER FLASH SALE - treat yourself to a summer getaway with upto 40% off over 2,500 hotels worldwide (Book - 17 - 26 Nov & Stay 28 Nov - 29 Feb) . http://bit.ly/AccorHotelsNovemberSale2015"

        @adelee: It is on the le club facebook page not the accor one, but I think odysseus clarified that the 50% is for Uk/ Ireland hotels.

    According to the website, the 50% off is for UK and Ireland hotels. Others are mostly 40%, or less.

    On top of that, there is an extra 10% off for Accor plus.
