Yeah, looks like disc-only package (and 1 & at a time at that).
If it included streaming, maybe… (but probably "no" still :-p)The email I got from them about the 3 months for $5 offer gave me a choice of DVD subscription or Streaming subscription.
Then I look at the T&Cs in the email (and on the website) and see :

I tried to have a look at the delineation between premium and standard content streaming and didn't find the information easily (I didn't log in either).
Assuming that HD streaming is excluded for sure from my offer, I'll just pass.
Perfect timing to go retro - I am hoping this is less frustrating than my Chromecast that constantly reboots itself every time I want to watch a movie on netflix. Now i have three months to return my chromecast & get a new one…
I can't say I feel DVDs are retro.
how about BD? I personally dont think it's retro as they are much better quality than streaming, and have tons of bonus features…and dont forget it doesnt lag on slower connections…
Then this is the deal for you!
Wouldn't bother.
They have basically stopped adding new disks to the service, so all you'll find are older movies that have been out a while. And the streaming is even worse (they want you to pay extra for anything that's not total carp).
Guess they are trying to boost those 'subscriber' numbers after the haemorrhaging it's had to have had over recent times - make the stock market less dismissive maybe.
Older movies like Jurassic World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Mad Max etc?
Trust me, they stopped adding new movies as they came out at the end of September and since then they have added only a few, and very slowly. For instance, Inside Out and Terminator Genisys have been released a while now, but aren't available on Blu Ray.
I wouldnt bother….I tried that and it's only 1 disc at a time, the time it took to post back and forth its not worth it. On the other hand if it's 2+ discs at a time then maybe it's alright…..
