  • Thanks mate… I was waiting for a deal like that.

  • Looks really good solid reviews of the vendor as well as the bank itself!! Thinking of getting one for my new Note 5. Still reading into them, too bad they don't support QC. It could charge my phone about 3 times which is amazing.

  • You just won't stop until we have all types, huh?

    Thanks :)

    • Have to keep everyone happy :)

      • +3

every segment of the market, yep

        • Keep me happy? I need a RED 10 000 and 1 RED 1 GOLD 5000.
Any in stock or in upcoming deals before x/mas?
Also like to know if you will get restock of Xiaomi 2nd Generation Piston Beryllium Earphone Headphone (Color: Coffee + Gold)?

        • Any word on the new Mi band with pulse sensor?

        • +2

@QueSeraSera: As for color version of Xiaomi power banks, they are very hard to get stock.
Most of the ones in the market are fake.
We rather not selling them than having fake stocks.

Xiaomi 2nd Generation Piston Earphones have been discontinued.
We have very limited stock for white/silver color version.
They are still available on our website:

@skegger: Yes, they are just released today.
The stock will be in Australia in 3-5 weeks.
We will put on the promotion for these new products once they arrive :)

        • @mushtato: Bought 10000 silver and gold. 5000 silver and 16000 silver plus 1 pair of the Xiaomi 2nd Generation Piston Earphones (white/silver color version from you last week. Just trying to get gold, silver, red in both 10000 and 5000 (3 kids,3 colours).
Great service fast postage thanks Rep.

@QueSeraSera: Thank you for supporting local business :)

        • @mushtato:

Do you expect <$40 retail price

        • @QueSeraSera:
silicone cases come in many colors, unless you don't care about getting things scratched by the power banks case…

        • @smacko: Tried to find original Xiaomi 5000 silicone cases to no avail.

At this price I would've bought local.

I bought a Xiaomi ip camera from mushtato and was very happy, but went with banggood for power bank since I was in no hurry. More of an impromptu purchase. It arrived today, around three and a half weeks after purchase.
Strongly suggest others buy here, it's a great little bank.

      • Hi StoreRep,

I have just placed an order and paid with Paypal.
Within the account, I cannot find a tax invoice.
Will the tax invoice accompany the item when delivered?

        Many thanks in advance,
        BlueSky

Please kindly leave a not or in your case, send us a email with your order ID.
Your GST invoice will be sent to via email after order is dispatched.
          Thank you.

        • @mushtato: Thanks for the prompt reply.
I located the internal form for product enquiry at
          http://www.mushtato.com.au/contact-us.html

Which is not really relevant to my issue.
What email address should I send this request to?
Or can I PM you the details instead?

          Many thanks.

          Thank you.

        • @mushtato: Have PM'ed you. Thank you once again!

This guy seems to disagree. He's clearly got a faulty unit and Mushtato are refusing to replace it.

The 'excellent service' thing that keeps getting regurgitated on here seems to be a myth.

      • +2

It seems to me the guy was having problem with his unit too, the store rep keep talking about how good their service is but I did not see how they justified their claim of being so called reliable Australian warranty in resolving the problem. All in all, forget about the Australian warranty the store rep claim, buy locally if you need it fast, when it comes to warranty, all sellers are the same, they will try to give you the run around when you want to make a claim.

  • +1

why not? needed to buy something tonight, otherwise wouldn't be able to sleep well. Thanks TA!

  • Purchased, one for myself and one for a gift! Thanks rep.

When is the 20,000mha coming with quickcharge? and Mi Band 2?

    • +4

They are just released by Xiaomi today.
The stock will be in Australia in 3-5 weeks.
We will put on the promotion for these new products once they arrive :)

      • Any word on what the pricing for the 20,000mah with quick charge will be when it arrives?

        • Not sure yet.
We will have the pricing ready once they arrive.
They will arrive with all other new Xiaomi products.
          Thank you :)

    • Oh man, just bought some 10,000mah ones… guess i need to get some more :(

  • What happened to the 16000 mAh? It's selling for $49.95 !

    • +1

The promotion for Xiaomi 16000mAh power bank was ended last week.
Sorry to hear that you missed out :\
However, as Christmas in coming, there will be lots of promotions on different products.
It will be back, very soon.

  • does this have fast charge capabilities for Galaxy S6?

    • -2

Yes, they are compatible with any standard 5.0V devices.
      That includes Samsung Galaxy S6.

    • It wouldn't do the "fast charge" that you might be thinking of (QC 2.0 compatiable fast charge which uses 9V).

      • That is correct.
When Xiaomi design this power bank, QC 2.0 hasn't been released yet.
That's why the new model of 20000mAh power bank is compatible with QC 2.0.
But not the 5000mAh and 10000mAh model.

  • When will the 16000 mah be at $29.95 again? I need one before the 4 of Dec.

    • At the moment, they are in combo with each purchase of Xiaomi 10000mAh power bank at 29.95
Simply tick the box beside 16000mAh power bank from 10000mAh product page.
It will be added into your shopping cart as an add-on :)

      • Thanks for that

Do you think you will have the 16000 at $29.95 soon before early 4 th dec again? I might buy the 10000 + 16000 but it would just be extra baggage for me.

  • +1

How long does delivery usually take from mushtato?

    • VERY QUICK! I ordered 16000 and 10000 last friday morning, was dispatched by midday, arrived monday morning. Cannot recommend these guys enough.

  • Grabbed one for my missus, or rather a new one for me and she gets the old one.

  • +1

    Alright fine I'll buy one

  • Bought one thanks

  • +9

Well I won't be buying from them until the claims of good service and warranty are proven to be more than just talk by dealing with that faulty device referred to (yet again without resolution) - above. Hardly seems worth the loss of goodwill to me, but oh well.

  • Think 99% of ozbarginers find these guys very trustworthy and a reliable source for these powerbanks, they do keep their promises.

Some of those guys who are complaining are just morons who made a wrong order or expected a lot better from the powerbanks. It's like eBay, problem was solved but no compliment about the fix. people tend to write up more complaints than positive feedback, There will always be a small group that will dislike a Business, look at Apple for instance.

    • Thanks, we take it as a compliment. It's really not easy to make every single one happy, but we will always do the right thing.

  • bought the 10,000mAh for a friend and the 16,000mAh for me! great price and perfect timing.

  • $25.40??

    I bought 3 of these for $40 from banggood.com ….

Warranty is good if the company is still around in a year…

    • $13 each for genuine units shipped? Seriously post the link you will win an Ozbargainer of the year award for that post.

    • +1

      Yeah but banggood take FOREVER
I needed powerbanks by this monday coming (going away on monday), so ordered some about a month-month and a half ago. They arrived yesterday.
By that stage I had given up on them arriving in time and couldnt risk not getting them in time. SO with MushTatos sale last friday morning, i bought more. The MushTato ones came in on monday.
So youre really paying for receiving in a timely fashion. Banggoods cheaper, yeah, but god you dont want to need it soon.

      • It clearly says it will take a month on banggood for delivery. Mine actually arrived earlier so I was pumped. Tested all the units and were 100%. So I am happy.

Mind you I bought the 16000mah from mushtato through ebay. $40ish, prompt delivery, working great too.

    • I just got 10,00mah powerbank from banggood, as they had a promotion for $14.86 and they finally arrived yesterday after a month. I was losing hope that my powerbank wasn't going to come..

      • got mine as well from Banggood. My only regret is that I didn't order more. I've also ordered matching Xiaomi LED lights for it (<$1 each). This was shipped separately — still waiting for it to arrive.

  • How long does the battery last?

  • @TA any cashback agreement with Mushtato in the pipeline ? :)

    • Already in discussion with Mushtato :)

  • hi rep, any deal for Xiaomi Ultra Light Mi Bluetooth 4.1 Hand Free Headset Headphone in the future?

    • Not enough stock at the moment.
But we will get more and put up a deal when it's ready :)

  • I am departing in 10 days
what's ETA to 3168? Can I get it by then?

    • +2

Estimated delivery from Syd to VIC is 2-4 business days, Plenty of time :)

      • So can I use my lightning cable with it? Non-mini USB side goes into this powerbank? (cuz lightning side needs to go in apple gadget)

        • Yes, you can :)

      • So I received it yesterday. But there is no Manual on it!
It's fully charged now, but I cannot turn it off and 4lights are still blinking even though I press/hold/double press! power button on it. What should I do to turn it off and save power while not using it?

        • +1

          Thank you for your enquiry.
The LED lights on this item is preset to flash for 120 seconds.
If not action is taken, it will then switch off to ideal mode.
Please unplug all connected cables and leave it as it is and it will switch off by itself.

It's really not easy to make every single one happy, but we will always do the right thing.

Folks should note you've not even attempted to listen to that customer. What you actually did, was justify your decision to abandon them - first by making a wrong assumption, then supported your decision using irrelevant background info from unrelated customers. Then you fobbed him/her off, without the unit being tested. Finally you claim this took effort on your part.

LOL - where do I send the white gown and halo.

They clearly demonstrated why it wasn't the same 'non-existant' fault as those other customers. The excuse you gave and what you describe from those other examples, is not the same fault as he describes. That proves you're deliberately refusing to hear what he's saying.

That aside, it's ONE unit. Everyone knows margins are small. But for goodness sake, what you would have 'lost' - and what would you have gained amongst the community here instead. Other sellers have gone, "You know what - I can see I can only win out of this - here's a new one…" and they've won people's praise at worst, and their wallet$ at best.

Whilst rejecting his request to return, test, replace - supported by a series of sound fault-finding exercises to prove the fault is real which you completely discounted - you simultaneously admit you've allowed dozens of other customers to return units with NO fault, yet you won't accept his - which DOES.

Plenty of people may have received items ok. Others may have received replacments on items that were completely broken. But this seller's claim he attempts to make people happy, obviously ends the moment it's going to cost HIM something, rather than the manufacturer.

i.e. You basically stated the fault was similar enough to previous returns, where the manufacturer excused themselves out of providing a replacement. Which means it would cost you, not them. Which is unacceptable, even though you've sold dozens of units here you otherwise wouldn't have.

Anyone that's read my comments over the last few years would know I've rarely spoken against a single person (except politicians, LOL). So my reptuation speaks as loud, if not above, your claim you tried to work with the guy/girl; try to make people happy; when what you actually said was:

"Other customers returned ones without any fault. Which I know isn't the same as the genuine fault you have. But it's close enough that I can claim ignorance and ignore you. You should be content it partially works. Everyone else should take comfort in knowing most of them do - and if you get one that doesn't, I'll take a few of your phone calls or emails then abandon you by implying customers with genuine faults are inept and don't know how to use their faulty items correctly. And because I'm still making money from your peers all is ok with the world. (Well, my world anyway.)"

    LOL. Incredible.

So… when one of these units your currently selling fully recharges on a dozen different chargers, then a couple of weeks later is the only device incapable of being fully charged on any of them - are you going to abandon those customers with disparate evidence too? People would do well to think about that.

People would also be wise to consider how many units it would have taken this business to recover their 'loss' - an entire (gasp!) five maybe? I guess not knowing about the customers you'll never get is bliss. It's also known as ignorance and indifference. It's certainly not integrity.

  • Incredible price in Aus. Already bought one last month. Can't help buying an extra.

  • you know why i choose Mushtato over banggood? look at this store rep. he/she replies all our comment and answer questions, i deeply believe this kinda of "careness" goes alone with their product. at least they care us.

    • Thank you for your kind support :)

    • +1

What's the good of replying when it is not resolving the problem. I am expecting the rep to at least justifying his claim as a reliable Australia seller in above warranty problem, which the rep did not even bothered to do so.

      • -2

Thank you for following up this case from 05/11.
Explaining the entire case to public will explore some customer's private details.
Unless this customer agrees and willing to do so, otherwise, we cannot discuss any further.
In conclusion, we had given the customer option to test the item on a 5.0V and 2.0A tablet wall charger, or send the item back to us for further diagnosis.
If item is faulty or cannot be fully recharged, we will replace/repair it.
Otherwise, we will send it back to him/her.
We understand not everyone believes in numbers and figures.
But, it's his/her choice to make and whether to share the result to public :)

        • You are not in breach of privacy act as we do not need to know the identity or details of your customer. What I am interested in is how you handled the situation. As per your customer, you assumed the problem was with the charger without even listening, justified your assumption and ignored him. This does not look like good customer service to me. What is stopping you from doing the same thing to others if they bought the power bank from you and it exhibit the same problem, will you ask them to buy another charger to test the power bank before you even want to talk to them about the problem?

      • still awwy better than not replying at all. way better……

you think talking is not a method of solving problem? ask your gf.

  • Can you take a power bank on the plane? Is it allowed?

    • Yes, you can.
Unless you are bringing more than you need (like 3 or more), they are allowed on the plane :)

      • Cool, thanks, I will get one asap.

        • Its all you ever see on the plane these days.
          Everyone has them.

  • Do the units supplied by Mushtato come with the Chinese Barcode?
So they can be verified on the Xiaomi website?

    • +1

Yes, all Xiaomi Power Banks comes with 20-digits authentication code.
You can verify it from Xiaomi website: mi.com

      • Thank you, i had a seller trying to tell me he works under licence of Xiaomi and is responsable for the international sales, and that his products don't come with the 20 Digit Bar Code because they are export products.
Yeah, i was struggling to swallow what he was saying, so i thought i would ask you, as i wasn't sure.

This is the actually reply i got when i asked:

        "Dear customer
Thanks for your contact with interest in our store and item

This power bank is licensed By Xiaomi which is a cost-effective export products. Our company is responsible for the Global sales and after-sales.Please note the difference between the Original domestic Xiaomi Power Bank, this model for sale abroad ,so there is no Chinese Bar Code."

I shall wait until your Fast Charge models arrive :)

        • Thank you sharing your experience.
We notice there is a seller claims they are authorized by Xiaomi to sell "genuine" power bank without authentication code.
It has been reported to Xiaomi head office and they are taking actions.
Xiaomi goes crazy on these things.
You can report this directly to Xiaomi.
The more complaints Xiaomi receives, the faster they react.

        • @mushtato:
Than you, i will send it to Xiaomi

  • @mushtato hey rep, after looking at the differences of colour in the xiaomi powerbank cables, just wondering if you can verify this sites info on usb cabling colours.
note: I have a black usb inner direct from xiaomi and a white usb inner from you..
    https://www.techmesto.com/identify-fake-xiaomi-power-bank/

    • They are not 100% accurate as all appearances can be copied.
The most important parts are the inner circuit board and battery cells they use.
These are the most accurate ways to identify fake copy.
You will need to destroy it to open up the device.
We have some buyers did open it up in the past and shared their findings here :)

      • ok rep i'll take your word for it.
        cheers!
