One song? sorry but big deal.

    • Given that one song could be worth $1.69 (depending on various factors) I'd say it was a pretty good offer

  • I think it is good value, given that these tracks are DRM-free, which means you can play them on any of your systems -mp3 players, computers, burn a CD for the car etc. A track normally costs between $1.6 and $2.7 on bandit.
IMHO, it is way better than buying from itunes or bigpond, where you are constrained by the DRM

Actually I think that most music is DRM-free on itunes also. IMHO the only reason to go with bandit.fm are the regular promos that they run.

    • I suggest you get your facts straight… both iTunes AND BigPond Music are completely DRM free.

      • I agree, they are all DRM free, but as far as I know, iTunes does have restrictions on how many computers / devices it can be played on. Bandit does not, or so I think.

        • FFS. No it doesn't! (it did years ago). Think about it before posting rubbish, if it's DRM-free, how could they limit the number of devices it can be played on. Maybe you should go do some research what drm is before making a fool of yourself next time.

  • Hey,hey,hey…..a genuine "CHEAP AS CHIPS" deal….sori couldn't help myself.

  • AFAIK, they apply a $1.69 credit to your account, and no song will cost more than $1.69 during the promotional period. Definitely worth picking up a pack or 10 if you're thinking of downloading music anyway. $1.20 bag of chips = chips + song. Bargain IMO.

  • I believe these are only the 45Grams packets that have these codes, my local Woolworths (Robina North Mall) currently has 2 for $2, the credit expires on 03/07/2010 and includes Burger Rings too :)

  • I was just redeeming some codes that I'd saved up and it was applying $3.38 to my account for each code! Not sure if it's a system glitch, but if you've got some codes lying around it might be worthwhile redeeming them now.
