Well i compared it for the same rooms at the sofitel wentworth (via www.wotif.com) and they were considerably more expensive (for the superior room) and the same for the classic room. So i guess do your research before booking? There is a minimum booking fee of $270 for the discount so u better be going 5 star =p
Thing that annoyed me about HotelClub when comparing deals recently is the extremely concise room descriptions, little more than a title and bedding config, that made it hard to tell what you were getting. Other booking sites had much clearer information.
Is this really a bargain?
Or just more spam?
These days you can more often than not get a 10% to 20% discount simply by asking.
I just used them to compare prices (without the discount) with some accommodation in Hamilton Island and they're roughly the same. So it's a bargain for me =]
Is it $20 off per night or per booking? Currently its $12 - $16 per night more expensive than my best quote for KL accommodation.
I'm pretty sure it's $20 less per booking :)
