    They do, I tried to book a flight from Sydney to Ballina and there was a $7~ surcharge. The same with DD/CC but no surcharge with Poli(internet transfer)

  Flight centre will price match against the virgin price with the code. Because the code is publicly available, they should not have a problem with that.
  When they price match, there is no surcharge on cc payments.
