Wonder if it would work with PS3. Any advice?
I doubt you'll have any problems, the only issue that could occur (with all non-powered hubs)is if you draw more power than the USB port is capable of.

These are all from China anyway.
thanks!!
Good one, but I'd prefer one without the usb female cables hanging out, looks neater IMO.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Laptope-PC-High-Speed-4Port-480-Mbps-Sil…Well depends what USB devices you have. Some devices are bulky and won't fit in that type when there's another device in the port next to it.
Be careful with these Chinese 'generic' hubs.
It's a bit of a minefield including such issues as:
- not really USB 2.0
-dangerous soldering
-missing protection diodesNot sure about this specific unit, but I have seen all the above occur with cheapie no-name hubs.
It's YOUR data flowing though these and it will be connected to your expensive data crunching machine.
Personally I'd spend the bux and get a name brand with a warranty and reputation.this is true, we nearly had a house fire because of one. Melted the USB hub, then started burning through the leather table cover
I used one of these for a mod on my eeepc (adding a internal 3G modem)
The construction is was substandard, One port didnt have all the wires connected (wasn't a issue in my case).Bought that at the $3 shop in Oakleigh, VIC
Looks like a good price.
