  • And they have C&C. Nice deal OP

  • They don't have C&C on the laminating pouches

    • +1

They do if you order 5 or fewer.

      • +1

        Got it. Sorry, my bad.

        • No worries, I just ordered two lots of 5 :-)

    • I was just about to purchase a few of the laminating pouches, but realised that they are credit card sized ones and not A4. Wishful thinking, I guess.

Don't be mean to the people that need ear trumpets :(

  • Did anyone else read it as "lamington"?

      You must be hungry

  • +1

    Dang no eneloops :(

  • +1

I haven't even used a single pack of these or these. Not because I'm not using them, they're just so damn long-life compared to Energizer.

    • I was using the Fujitsu batteries in my ghetto AA powered power bank, on first day of use the batteries started to leak. Works fine in clocks though.

Hands up all those that was hoping for Eneloop deal no 2,637,873

  • Time to print some counterfeit identification. Cheers OP

  • +1

Limit of 5 on AA 2pk and only available as click and collect (and not many stores have any stock)

  • Cheers OP. Bought a couple of 476A's for my camera.

  • Are the Dick Smith AA and AAA 2-packs or Fujitsu equivalents better? (both for $0.60)

  • Can batteries be used after the expiry date has passed?

    • +1

No. Illegal to use after expiry.

      • +2

'No. Illegal to use after expiry.'

Lololol, pay 'the treader' no attention mmd, of course you can use them, and they should be fine. It might be wise not to use batteries that are more than a year past their expiry date in a valuable appliance/gadget though; in case they fail/ wreck the terminals in the appliance.

I knew I was going to get a 'smart' comment
          Cheers Gnarly :)

        • @mmd: sorry mate if you thought I was serious.

  • 56 batteries in total for $25, FTW…

    4x2pk D Cell
    2x8pk AA
    2x16pk AAA

    • +2

'FTW', I reckon the real bargains were the button batteries ranging from 20 cents to 50 cents per pack, rather than the non-rechargable AA and AAA batteries. There was a general limit of 5 packs of each type applied for 'CnC', but the 'Dicky' website itself specifically suggested placing multiple consecutive orders to circumvent this limitation.

      • If i had a use for button batteries sure. Besides a watch and a PC or two that's it, neither are due for a few years yet.

  • seems to be over

  • Just loaded up on D-Cell batteries for the MagLite. 6 x 2pks for $1.60 ea! - $9.60 with click and collect. Absolute Bargain. Unless of course they all expire in 3 months ;)
