If you go to Coles and buy the 10% bonus value DSE gift cards you can get the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 from DSE for $247.30 for today only. The knowledgable lady in Target recommended this over an iPad mini as these have an SD card slot (if you need the storage).

Off topic: Met an Indian chap at Coles buying $900 worth of gift cards to buy an iPhone for his cousin in India. Apparently iPhones are cheaper in Australia by $150.

  About the off-topic : yes the iphone has a huge premium in India due to additional taxes .

  Many manufacturers are setting up shops there to produce handsets locally as locally assembled handsets are taxed much lower
