Air New Zealand has a sale to the US right now, and these fares seem pretty good. Please note IWTF is quoting slightly cheaper fares ($7-$19) and the only reason I didn't post as an IWTF deal is because there seems to be heaps more dates available directly through the Air NZ website. But please check both as you may save a few bucks.

There's plenty of seats for flights from November 2015 through to March 2016. Sale ends Oct 19. Safe travels :)

  I plan to stay in San Francisco for 2 weeks and New York for 1 week, doesn't matter in what order, Is it cheaper that I book the US domestic leg San Franc - NY separately?

    it's probably a lot easier - if you book "direct" to new york, you'll have to try negotiate a "2 week layover" in LA on the way in or way out - if you book just to SF then you can book the SF-NY return flight seperately.

    i wish there was an easy way to negotiate that layover, it could quite possibly be cheaper on certain deals!

      I didn't know that we can negotiate the layover, probably not online deal. Surely i'll keep that in mind if any Syd - NY deal come up.
