  • Great GPS although very unreliable and can be problematic as to why COTD is selling them, good price best i have seen anyway definitely get the bluetooth version

Please note this is a refurb not a new one, doh i missed that . It does say it in the description

    • Completely agree, it's a very unreliable unit as flashy as it may be. They did sell for ~$400 when they were new but they had better of fixed the issues they were suffering from before.

Good price for sure, but I have seen Garmin's with traffic kits going for $199 from JB and even recently Navman were doing lifetime traffic subscription + 3 years worth of upgrades on their units which didn't cost more than $250 (http://navman.com/in-car/3294/Australia/Navman-Australia/Our… for 3 year upgrade promo).

GPS units have fallen in price quite sharply, lots of good deals at the moment, this isn't bad but shop around before buying.

EDIT: I had nightmares with the Bluetooth module in these, literally couldn't get it to sync with 3 different branded phones and 3 different (all new) S150s. Going to assume it's been fixed and that's why these are refurbished.

  • +1

navman's interface is so slow compared to tomtom/garmin!

    • Was tempted with this until I saw your comment. Thanks! No stress now…hahaha… :)

      • I have an older Navman bought 3 years ago, never updated maps because it was too expensive and they don't release maps on a yearly basis. Not sure if they do with the newer ones. Quality is good but takes a while to even get your location.

  • Excellent Deal.

    I have a S100(purchased 2008). Navman emailed 13/1/10, price for 2009 map is $148.

  • With a new one dont you get 3 years of FREE maps?

I dont think is as a good a deal as it sounds..

    mixo

  • where can I buy it
