Free Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine (Worth $119) with Order of 15 Boxes of Capsules + Free Shipping

LABRWKNDMINI

From email:

Select a minimum of 15 boxes of capsules (in any combo of flavours) and in addition to free delivery, you’ll get a free black Mini Me machine worth $119 whilst stocks last. Simply add the capsules of your choice and a Mini Me machine to the shopping cart, then use this promo code: LABRWKNDMINI

Promo period is 1st October 2015 - 11th October 2015. Promo is limited to the first 180 machines.

15 boxes of capsules cost $127.35 ($8.49/box) + Free Shipping. In turn you will receive the free coffee machine valued at $119. You should also receive $10 credit for capsule purchases and instructions to claim free sample capsules from the website.

Whilst the machine has been available for cheaper, since you need capsules for it anyway I think it's a great deal, the capsules are $8.49 per box which is the same price as Coles & Woolworths so you aren't losing out by buying something pointless or overpriced. Link to machine <—- Add to your cart once you've added 15 boxes of capsules then apply the coupon code. The capsules are rarely on special ($7 a box is the best I've seen but not for some time now) and the cheapest I've seen the machine is half price at $55-$60, so you'd still be paying $40 or $50 more for the machine & capsules if you held out for specials.

Last time they did this the 300 machines went in less than a day so be quick as only 180 machines this time.

For those new to Dolce Gusto, Cafe Au Lait is all I drink as they have coffee and milk combined so it's only 1 capsule to make a coffee ($0.53/coffee). Each $8.49 box contains 16 capsules - some other drinks require 2 capsules to make 1 drink so works out to $1.06/drink (such as Cappuccino which has a seperate milk and coffee pod). When looking at the capsules just take notice of whether it says number of servings 8 or 16 per box - but if you are looking for a milk coffee then definitely go the cafe au lait. Black coffee lovers might be better off with another machine, although this does the job.

  • What boxes of capsules are you adding to get it? I am getting the message 'Code LABRWKNDMINI cannot be applied on your current cart.' I am probably doing something wrong though :)

I got it working whilst logged out and in:

      Your Order
      1x Mini Me® Piano Black
      $119.00
      15x Chocoletto™
      $127.35
      Subtotal $246.35
      Discount (LABRWKNDMINI) $119.00
      Grand Total $127.35

Added 15 capsules to cart first then added the mini me machine to cart and applied code at checkout. Make sure you got 15 boxes and the right machine, otherwise it gives that error.

Ahhh thanks, I hadn't added the machine first.

      • Working on the NZ site too if you want to post it on Cheapies as well, I would but I have reached my post limit! :) www.dolce-gusto.co.nz

Ah awesome, I was going to test that shortly. Will post now thanks for that.

how do these coffees compare to other capsules?
I have owned the nespresso, lavazza, aldi and vittoria coffee capsule machines but never tried the nescafe machine.

Capsule prices sound similar to other capsules i'm buying for my other machines.

    • +1

I have tried nespresso, lavazza and this nescafe one. Lavazza was the best > nespresso > nescafe.

      • thanks. I agree Lavazza is the best i've tasted.

        Lavazza > Nespresso > Aldi > Vittoria

  • Don't buy it! They will ship to you those capsules which have just one month left before expiry date. And this machine costs about 50bucks in Coles.

    • +1

The best before date on my capsules are June 2016 and that was an order from a few weeks ago. Which variety did you order? You should contact them if that happens.

      • I ordered 3 boxes last year and got two boxes going to be expired in 30 days.

I bought a Mini Me in my local Coles on clearance last night for $29.75. That being said, if your local Coles doesn't have any stock or if you have a need for 15 boxes then this is good value indeed!

  • Hmm… 15 packets, I think they'll lose taste by the time we go through that many, like they did last time we bought that many.
Plus, I'm not even sure this machine is even an upgrade from the old Piccolo machine we bought years ago.

    • 240 capsules and you can expect about 8 months before they reach their best before date. So if you drink one coffee a day you will be right.

As for machines I believe that the Piccolo is manual? This is automatic. Also this is a 800ml tank, it looks like Piccolo is 600ml tank.

Ultimately no big deal though, I upgraded from a manual to automatic machine and I like it, can press it and leave it without worrying about overflowing - but coffee tastes the same :)

      • They lose their taste 2 months before the best before date.
        At least the Americanos do.

        • Ah interesting, didn't know that - I mainly drink cafe au lait.

Do you drink the Americano as straight black coffee or add milk afterwards? What do you think of it?

        • @hamza23:
I drink it with about twice as weak as it's supposed to be in a large mug and add milk afterwards. Makes it go much further and still has a bite. Cafe au lait we've bought sometimes when the store was out of stock of Americanos, even having the recomended amount it tastes weak and leaves behind a weird unexplainable taste in your mouth but as a last resort it's probably the 2nd best Nescafe pod (without milk pods) stocked on shelves.

        • @hamza23:

I thought cafe au lait is just like instant coffee with powdered milk? Unlike their cap which is ground coffee beans and milk.

        • @AreYouAWiiizard:

Cool thanks. Yeah I agree cafe au lait is a bit weak and the recommended amount is too small so you always add a bit more in which makes it even weaker. I guess that's part of only having one pod but I'm sure they could add strength to it.

        • @ktks:

Both Cappuccino and Cafe au lait are powdered milk.

However Cappuccino is roasted and ground coffee - cafe au lait is soluble coffee aka instant coffee yeah.

I find the cappuccino too sweet, the milk capsules contain a lot of sugar, especially when it's twice the price but some would prefer it i am sure. I believe that the cappuccino comes in the trial pack you get for free when you receive your machine for those that want to compare.

          @hamza23:
The milk pods are always crap, the cappuccino pods are actually really nice if you add your own milk, but for $1 each I feel is a rip-off.
Maybe it's because I normally use light milk as I'm lactose intolerant though but honestly I've never seen anyone say the milk pods are good, ever.

Thank you! this is good deal. I have just bought it!

  • it's only 1 capsule to make a coffee ($0.53/coffee). Each $8.49 box contains 16 capsules - some other drinks require 2 capsules to make 1 drink so works out to $1.06/drink (such as Cappuccino which has a seperate milk and coffee pod)

Opening pandora's box with this^ comment. It takes two capsules of any brand to make a standard full strength coffee.

Powdered milk in a capsule… I don't even know where to start.

    • uht milk I thought not powder, either are just as bad though.

I got one of these machines for free and pods for free (brother in law worked with them).

Still went and bought a nespresso… take from that what you will :p

  • The coffee is quite weak in the cappucino and the milk is a little overpowering and gives it that UHT milk taste and smell.

I've got a dolce gusto and a nespresso and have usually gone with the nespresso as it produces coffee with more character and flavour.

I still prefer coffee made using the traditional machines but nespresso is easy and fast

  • the mini me coffee machine, I saw it at Target for $59.
