Is there a limit to how many you can get? I bet it's all sold out by now?

    • it doesn't start until the 18th.

    • The PDF states how many are avaliable but not if there Ex-Demo or Refurbished.
I would think that where there are 1 unit on offer they would be demos while those with multiple (including 1 model with 10 in stock) would be refurbished.

      • If it matters to someone, they should probably check with them at the time :)

Sorry about the random comment, but I must say that this is the most well presented, coherent and grammatically correct PDF advertisement I have seen from MSY, ever! :P

    • actually i thought it was pretty consistent :)

    • Well, the Use of title Case does Seem a Bit Random in the navy-Blue Text. The White stars Also Overlap.

should probably put MSY Clayton Branch in the heading.

  • wonder how the warranty works on ex demo units

The PDF states "Hundreds of Ex-Demo and Refurbished Items at Ultimate Insane Price with Full Manufacturer Warranty", with "All warranty issues are to be handled by Asus" as a footer message on each page.

  • i wonder which MSY got a shop with demo !, auburn one is like cinema theater entrance, ppl queue to get ticket (buy).

  • i didnt realise there was so many different brands of 10" asus eee's :(

fark thats confusing as all hell

  • MSY probably gets them ex demo from elsewhere i mean selling under MSY's name must be like hotcakes

    • Personally i would say ex demo and refurb being sold by a retailer that doesnt exactly have demo units seems a bit odd

Coming from 2 Laptop Vendors my experience would tell me these are units (refurb) that have overheated or the clients have complained so many times they have had to be refunded.

My gut feel tells me 40%-50% of the original price seems fair although refurbs are not as good as new close very close although usually the new one hasnt been pulled apart and put back together again & again by an engineer who hardly knows one model from another

Ahh look forward to the cue forming at the asus repair centre and am sure you will hear lots of arguments but i bought this at the msy sale they said it had full warranty

  • I got the only 901 - which was a refurb. Seems in excellent as-new condition.

  • are these still available? o.0
