    True, battery life is rather short compared to other wireless mice. But it's not a big deal to use wired for an hour while it's charging, or to leave it on charge every couple of nights.

    IMO worth it for a high-precision, low latency wireless gaming mouse.

    Easy fix: Keep a charger full of Eneloops plugged in at all times. I used to have the Sanyo USB Charger plugged into my PC so you could swap out batteries in a second.
