    FB/Steam group isn't required, only email.

      It does require FB. I tried it from three different PCs to make sure.
      I have no idea why it works without for you - maybe you have your passwords saved and are logged in in the background all the time.
      For the great majority of people FB is required. See the last deal that you posted - check the comments.
      So please do not get people's hope up that FB is definitely not required. It is.

          Ha, ha, ha. Since you always want to have the last word why should I? Come on now….

          I'll be here all morning :-)

          @kaneissik:
          I always get a FB log on for these deals. Not sure how you don't. No biggie tho - FB account for OzB deals. :)

          @MiniMoo:

          I have a business FB that I use but I'm not sure if that's linked or not and I can't really find a way to check, I'll still argue with Lysander though.

          @kaneissik:
          Congrats. Your business FB picks up lots of free games! (Assuming that account is always logged in, that's why you don't get a log on prompt.)

          Edit: You can prove this by going to Facebook. If you don't need to log on then you're perma-logged in, and that's why you don't need to log on for these deals.

          @MiniMoo:

          Who doesn't want more games to add to their Steam backlog which will never deplete?

        • @kaneissik:
          I'm pretty new to these Steam freebies, so hoping to raise my ranking in the Steam pile-of-shame ladder. :)

          @MiniMoo:

          I have around 620 games now… The last game I played was MGS and it made me mad so I stopped playing it. Hardcore user

          Diablo actually has all my free time right now, until I inevitably get bored of it!

        • Go get your morning coffee bruh

          @Milkyboners:

          I have none left, feel free to fill a cup up with your tears. No salt though please!

      • I am logged into facebook in the background. I entered my email and didn't like any of the pages or join the steam group, I unchecked the newsletters and clicked the confirmation at the bottom and they sent me a key. While you may need to be logged in to facebook you don't actually need to like their pages to get the key, this is what I assume kaneissik meant. Steam doesn't constantly interface with your web browser so you don't actually even need a steam account to receive the key.

    • FB was required for me. Tried a number of approaches, but couldn't get through the claim page without FB association.

    Oh, it's actually 2 games - a double pack. Has very positive reviews on Steam.

    Asked me to login to Facebook when claiming, even tho I unticked the 'send me more stuff' button.
    If I login to FB on separate window, the whole process was seamless so that could be the reason why.
    Key sent within minutes, thanks OP.

    Bought this ages ago. Great point and click adventures well worth the price, if you like Monkey Island and Sierra games.

  • thank you :-)

  • Wow, these are much better than that SUPER DISTRO abomination. Thanks :)
