its much smaller connector and faster than current usb, usb has had its next generation to try and keep up with firewire just wait for the next firewire. esata is good
i use both but am interested in speed and pretty much only use laptops
starting to sound like beta vs vhs where the lower quality wins because of price hmm
do you need a power adapter with esata drives?
My brother picked exactly the same drive for $117 just on Tuesday from Harvey Norman as part of some sales promo they were having. Might be worth checking out if you're interested.
Hi, i just got a WD Elements 1tb for $110 @ JB. Just go to JB and Say Harvey Norman has them for $118 and Officeworks will Match and Beat by 5%. although its $112.10, the sales guy just straight out said $110 without confirming price with hn or officeworks…….Sweet
This 1tb Seagate has been $129 at OfficeWorks for weeks, i don't know why this bargain is labelled as "better hurry". JB have them for $129 too.

OW also have maxtor 1TB external hard drive for $119. Though it is a clearance item and stock varies for each store.
