    • Hi there mate,

Yes this is the course we are offering. If you have a look at our website the course code you mentioned is the same one we are offering in this deal.

Feel free to give us a call on this number if you have any further questions 1300 66 33 50.

      Regards,

      Jared

  • Do u get a certificate or qualification card? Like a licence type?

  • Hi there,

After you pass your assessment you will receive what's called a Statement of Attainment. It's a certificate that says you have completed all necessary units of competency of the HLTAID003 course. At Edway Training, we do offer the option for you to get a First Aid card for an additional $25 (you will have to wait a couple of business days to receive it) but it is not compulsory.

    Regards,

    Jared

    • Isn't it all electronic now? You create a Unique Student Identifier (USI) and it gets logged there?

      • +1

        Hi there,

The First Aid course itself cannot be online as there is theory and practical elements to the course, but you are right. If you have a USI and provide it to us on your day of training we can lodge the course against your USI and it will be logged there.

        Regards,

        Jared

        • If the student does not provide you with a USI, and/or you fail to verify/validate the USI, you are not permitted to provide the student with a Statement of Attainment. This is the law. www.usi.gov.au

        • @bradn: Hi there,

Edway Training has an exemption until the 1st Jan 2016 for lodging students' training against their USI. It is not compulsory for students to provide their USI for our training, however, if they would like to provide their USI to us we can input into their file in our student monitoring/reporting system which the government collates data from at the end of the year.

          Regards,

          Jared

        • @jarededway: Interesting. May I ask on what grounds the exemption was granted?

        • @bradn: I am sorry due to privacy reasons I am unable to answer that question.

          Regards,

          Jared

  • Do you know how long the certification lasts for? I last completed my first aid in 01/14

    • Hi there,

Your HLTAID003 qualification lasts for 3 years from the date of completion, your CPR component of the qualification needs to be updated every 12 months however. Hope this helps.

      Regards,

      Jared
