    Well this is a given.

I would be very surprised to find anything except restricted viewing available for 50% off at Subi as finals typically sell out there at full price in minutes.

Nobody cares about the finals this year…

Nobody from Victoria cares about the finals this year…

      Fixed it for you.

      • I care.. I love the footy despite whos playing.. except Collingwood.. I hate Collingwood

      How's Collingwood going?

      Not having a good year?
Thought you were certain for finally. Ever since you made that comment they lost nearly all of their matches.

      • How's Collingwood going?

Very happy with the number of young champions who have been blooded this year…

Looking forward very much to the next few years as they develop…

        • Good luck in the strat to overpay for every player.

          Joffa is that you?

        • @JayM:

Joffa rolled down the aisle after the big win last Friday…

    • Why post this when you did your own deal for AFL home and away games earlier this year?

      • -5

Because the final 8 has been decided and none of the popular teams will be playing after this weekend…

  • Thanks OP Hopefully the Tigers can win at least 1 final this year

  • What's AFL?

    • It's the game people watch because soccer and NRL is so poor.

          Doubt it, anyone with a telstra.com account…

    Thanks for this Spackbace!

  • There won't be any WA tickets available, as the club members will gobble them up before the general public gets a crack.

    • You would expect the same for any possible final at Adelaide Oval. Although seems unlikely.

      • Shouldn't be too hard to get some at AO, given the ground is larger, and not all the opposing team's allocation will be taken up (being an elimination final). Though depends on whether the Telstra tickets come before the general public.

  • Any idea what the ticket RRPs will be?

So it's almost 2pm anyone know if this will show up on the app or do we need to log on the website and follow the link or something?

    • +1

Looking at the FAQ it seems like you need to be logged into My Account to redeem and it wouldn't work on the app. So I'm now logged in and ready to snap up some tickets! :)

  • Use promo code AFLFINALS15 directly on the ticketmaster website to redeem.

    • At what stage do we enter the promo code? Cheers

  • Cheap ones are in the gods but i quite like the views from there

  • MCG tickets are Category 5 (top level - front rows near scoreboards, or about half way to the back rows in the pockets/behind goals). Pretty ordinary tickets, but you'd come to expect that for the price.

Pretty sure you don't need to be a telstra customer either, generic coupon code.

  • If you have Foxtel the view will be better from your TV at home than these seats!

Whats worse is the ticketek system is hopless I can't even find full price tickets if I wanted to for the Dogs v Adelaide game

    • I don't think the full price versions are live yet?

Definitely better view from the living room, however, you don't get the crowd experience at home ;)
Saying that, I doubt the Crows/Dogs game will be a sell out now that they've moved it to the G. IMO it wouldn't been a far better experience at Etihad, but it seems the AFL have ulterior motives for moving it…

      • Well they are definitely handicapping the bulldogs by doing so, not that they wouldn't need to perform at the G to win the big one anyway, but they have a far better chance at Edihad than they do at the G.

Maybe it's for the feel good story because of their coach's untimely death, but then again footscray are the ultimate underdogs of the season, so they both have compelling stories to draw ratings.

I think you are correct, and I doubt it will sell out, still want to get good location seats though.

  • In the big white space on the right .. Took me a while to work it out as well not that obvious !

    • Which page was it on? There is about 5 screens to go though to complete the purchase

      • Under where it says :

        Enter Barcodes or Team Name

  • Don't really watch footy, but tempted to go just to support WA teams! Cmon FREO! Cmon Eagles!

  • Well that was great. Couldnt even find the box where you type the code in. Went through to the payment page and it doesn't let you go back . had to pay full price.

  • +1

Did any get tickets for the Freo final at Domain? I see the options for the Telstra tickets but I get a message of "Sorry, no tickets for this venue currently…" after I hit search.

    • +1

I got one after refreshed like 10 times, $33 each plus $5.60 processing fee

      • Well done. I guess I was too slow. Good to hear that tickets did get released for Domain.

        • +1

Yeah it was only available for about 1 minute, I reckon tickets for Telstra customers were limited. There are still tickets if you purchase through ticketmaster main website with no discount.

Next time you purchase (hopefully in 2 weeks' time), be there by 2:00:00 sharp.

for ticketek website enter promo code AFLFINALS15 on first page where you supposedly should enter your barcode or preferred team.
Just scored front row top deck tickets under the scoreboard for the Tigers game for $30 each, less than the nose bleeds ….good deal

  • Looks like NM vs Rich has run out of these Telstra tickets.
Or is anyone still getting them?

    • still some there

  • still works i just checked

  • Have updated the main post with the Ticketek and Ticketmaster links, so you don't have to worry about going through My Account.

Well done on those that got tickets! Tried for Freo tix but just didn't work, was too hard on the mobile and with the promo code etc.

Will try for Eagles tomorrow :)

  • Tried to get Eagles tickets only 1 minute after they went on sale. Nothing left :(

    • Yep tried the same. Not even sure if there were any!

  • No tickets for dogs vs crows.

    • Theres some in category 5

      • No 50% off tickets*

        • 50% off ones were available for me when I checked

  • Still available for $27:50

  • Got 3 Freo's game!!

  • Got 4 tickets, at 2pm on the dot. Go Freo!!!

  • All gone now

  • Is it just me or was this a silly promotion?

Maybe for the games at the MCG but the ones interstate for the whole finals series were going to sell out.

    • Always great for Sydney, which never sells out (and where travelling Vic fans are routinely ripped off to subsidise the local theatre goers). For the games in Perth, the handful of tickets were no doubt appreciated by those who managed to snap them up.
