Its not really a refrigerator, more of a powered cooler.

Having had one of these previously, save your money, they just don't work. Not a real refrigerator, everything needs to be cool first and then it can keep it cool if running off gas or 240v. Hardly better than an esky when running on 12V.

  Agreed! These things are poopa! I bought one for a trip across the Nullarbor and they are next to useless. An esky with ice would be a better option, but you can get an ebay fridge/freezer in 50 litre that run VERY well for $350. AVOID this one and/or any 3-way fridges.
