Now my comment doesn't make sense since description has been updated lol
"2G: GSM900/1800/1900, 3G: WCDMA900/2100, 4G: TD-LTE:2600, FDD-LTE: 1800/2100"
So an Optus phone with no 4G on 700Mhz then ? Shame about the frequencies, as the rest of the specs, aside from the 32 Gb limit on sd, are quite reasonable for such a cheap phone. So this as far as we know is no good for Optus 4G? Sorry I'm not very good with these sort of things. I have a 4g sim but sill using it in a 3g only phone. If only the ZTE deal from woolies cam around again.
It's fine on the FDD-LTE 1800 band, and Voda will have 4G on it's 2100 band, but you wont be able to get Telstra's 4Gx [aggregation over 1800 and 700], and you only have 3G on Optus carriers and some Vodafone towers. With Telstra you will have 4G only when they cut their 2G out.
If I didn't have my tried and rusted obligatory Ozbargain G526, I'd definitely be on for this for my Amaysim unit. It'd be like swapping a Morris minor for a Corolla..
I wonder whether the frequencies are correct, these websites usually list the wrong frequencies… I'll look into it
EDIT: The full model is A806 the A8 (and only A8) is an 8" tablet.
It is also cheaper at aliexpress for US$99

pretty ok specs.
Oh, that's what Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are for.
My existing phone is struggling about 3 years old. I'm seriously considering this one. Specs are good. Can anyone recommend this phone or reasonable low price phone with similar spec?
why not lenovo elephone or xiaomi, one plus one, oppo? this is very unknown brand..
This phone is a lenovo.
Are you doing my job today..? :-P
I bought this recently for my daughter. She loves it, I've used it a few times and it does exactly what it's supposed to do imo. It was either from Tinydeal or Gearbest and absolutely chockas with bloatware.
I reckon this is a good buy for the specs.
You can go one step higher and get a lenovo K3 or Meizu M2 note, but those are closer to the $200 mark.
(if the previous Jd.com post is still valid, you could it the k3 note for $190)$194 I paid for it
Thanks guys for the info.
Any deals for ELEPHONE VOWNEY?
