From OP: Just measured them…as i expect Zero volts cos they measure "dead short"……
I will zap them on the power supply tomorrow and see if the charge.

Just a heads up.Most of my Japanese Eneloops from 2009 are dead or dying and they never got much usage either.So what do you think these tecxus ni-mh will do and they are not low self discharge either.
never saw that on the packaging (print too small for my "old man" eyes)although i see it now on the pic

Good price for the pouch … to store your eneloops!
Run them through a couple of cycles on a smart charger, then a timed low current charge, then cycle again, should recover most of their original capacity.
