I got the Bosch green series for home use and am super impressed with it. Blue would be same tier as Makita, Dewalt or AEG, and a few tiers above Ryobi One; with Green in between IMHO.
Personally I think DeWalt aren't that great. AEG, Ryobi & Milwaulkee are all made by TTi a big Chinese mob & most gear by Makita similarly are made in China. I think Bosch Blue is made in Malaysia.
As for reliability, my old man bought the Bosch blue cordless hammer and it was buggered as soon as he opened it. I've got AEG and prefer it, but his replacement Bosch blue is okay but I prefer the feel, weight and handling on my AEG drills. I also like that AEG hasn't changed their battery profile for ages so older legacy batteries and drills still work.
But like most tool these days I think it's a bit like comparing major car brands; largely their very similar with only small differences in performance and looks etc.
For the price the Bosch blue package seems quite good value…
I only buy Panasonic and Metabo these days.
Blue Bosch is still decent though…

How do you rate these compared to similar Ryobi One, Makita, Dewalt or AEG products. I wanted Ryobi One Combo kit (has have pruner already) but only at Bunnings and don't seem to have the Combo packs anymore.
