Was looking at Leathermans and found this deal.
Not as good as https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/195040 (was $79.45 then)

Would not have been a genuine Leatherman tool for that price.
Could be a 'Pleatherman'
You got a cheap multitool, not a leatherman.
Having owned many multi tools in my life I have to say that once you own a leatherman you will never go back. Not only are they a fantastic tool, but the warranty is amazing; a co-worker snapped his knife blade (trying to use it as a lever) and they sent a whole new unit to him, when all they had to do was replace the blade.
Had one for 18 years now and is as good as when I bought it. Always take it and always find a use for it when travelling. Great investment
but the warranty is amazing;
Don't like the idea of paying $80 more for warranty.
The one from Aldi does the job well. No issues with it at all…
Are you funemployed jv?
Yh but have you taken that $8 tool out and had a play with it? I bet it sits where it sits and does nothing!

I probably use it about once a week.
Easily found for $60 and less with full Aussie warranty and free postage on Ebay:
That's only the Wingman, not the combo with the Z-Rex.
Had the Wingman for a couple of years - it's awesome. Yes you can buy cheaper, but you won't buy better than Leatherman. The spring loaded pliers on the WIngman are great, and make it very comfortable to use.
What's the difference to this offer from the same store for $5 less:

I thought these things had a lifetime warranty instead of 25 years?
Has always been 25 years. You might be thinking of Victorinox (Swiss army knives)- they have a lifetime warranty.
Ok thanks mate!
Bought the Wingman for US$19.96 + shipping from Amazon last year.
Local warranty doesn't justify the inflated Aussie prices.
Local prices are crazy for these, but when I do buy a Leatherman locally tiptopshop.com.au is one of the better places to buy from.
And FYI, Leatherman's warranty is international. I've sent a couple of Leatherman tools in for warranty over the years that were purchased overseas, and they were honoured by the Australian Leatherman distributor without issue.
Got one from Aldi for about $8 about a year or so ago, it's great…
