    Scales for $143.65, No Weigh.

    • zomg no whey?

  • I bought this about a year ago on special for $99.
$144 now - Shows how much the exchange rate is hurting!

Works OK. Kg and %fat are measured.

  • So what does this scale do that a 10 dollar one can't?

    • claims to give you accurate body composition measurement (fat vs muscle ) via electrodes in foot plates so this is superior info to BMI which is a silly measurement for some body types and useless for muscular people who also have fat they want to lose.
on top of that it sends every update to your fitbit account (can be synced with other services like Myfitnesspal) so the aggregate data from this and your fitbit tracker would be pretty informative about how you are progressing.

      • Apart from muscle fat compo, I don't see any benefits here. And that too could be done by some simple measurements and a few minutes but hey, everyone has their own preferences.

        • Wife and I have been using fitbit one to track our step. Fitbit aria just another add on.. :)

  • I remember missing a 118 dollar deal from Dick Smith, in case anyone is wondering what sort of prices they can be had for.
I've been told the tech these use is very lacking without upper body electrodes as well but the person who said this also has issues with standard scales so take with a grain of salt.

anybody know if these are the same scales fitbit launched with or if they update them each year or so ?

This looks the same as the Aria I bought 2 years ago. Great scales and it allows you to keep track of your weight online, as it syncs with the Fitbit site.

  • Yeah bought mine about 3 years ago, works well!
