  It's almost like normal price at the moment with most stores doing it for around that mark. Source: Staticice . Having said that, does look like a decent bargain.

  Don't be sucked in by Dyson. I'm pretty sure this is a re-badged DC59 which many ppl were able to get for $450 or better.

    its similar to DC59 but its not the same. The suction power of V6 is a lot better than DC59. I tried both at Myers Hornsby and you can hear the sound from the machine. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure its strong.

      Sorry to break to you, it's the exact same spec for spec, only cosmetic colour and name is the difference. Source = I work for them lol

        @ee6oos: Honestly depends on what you need it for, like what floor types you have. But yeah at this price I recommend this one the V6 Animal, good for both floors and has a extra mini head to clean your car seats, couches, etc. V6 Motorhead, fluffy and Absolute are only worth it if they are on a bit of a sale and you want that extra deep cleaning.

        Didn't you say just get the DC59 which is exactly the same thing except cosmetic and name?

        If DC59 is cheaper than V6 when v6 is on special..still get dc59 right? Which is cheaper anyway with same inclusions

        @lovepub: Yes I did, I mean by all means get the DC59 IF you can still find it, I go around many harveys, good guys and they don't have anymore not since like April. If you can save a bit of money and find a dc59 box then get it other wise V6 Animal under $500 is pretty good since it is normally $699 at the moment.
