You can pay $15~ a month, or with in game gold.
25,000~ gold for a month's playtime is quite doable for experienced or active players, if you're new or don't play the AH well not so much.
Bah! I'm able to make 25k monthly without being either of those!! Or playing the AH..

This game will suck the life right out of you, its very addictive.. good price if u never want to go outside again
It's a fine game, a FUN game, and it's choc full of content and a pretty volatile community at times. Ignore people saying it's a life sucker, it's only a life sucker if you let it be the case. I don't play it now of course but I regularly played it for years prior alongside my wife and I don't regret it. All that "you'll never go outside again" stuff is just a huge cliche, along with people only playing it in their basement, it's the kind of cliche that belongs in the 90's and CSI type TV shows.
If you're interested in experiencing WOD before the new expo comes out then this is a good deal, but if you can wait until then WOD will become "free" and rolled into everyone's WoW account.
