First post to help my parents get rid of their stock before the renovations.

Dollar 123 at Marketcity in Chinatown, is having a renovations sale out. We have 30-50% off our LocknLock range. Plus at least 20% off other stock.

  Lock n Lock products are excellent.
  They are the only ones my wife likes, especially the glass ones as the seal up properly and are actually airtight.

    I've been very impressed by it too, it's the only thing that stops the smell of durian fruit filling the fridge and kitchen. It's very easy to open one-handed too, and because the top can be gently lifted it means liquids and powders don't spill out as you pop the lid off. I use them in the kitchen and also for laundry detergent so the powder doesn't absorb water and form chunks.

  Hi Kfc425, I'll come by tomorrow for some containers.
  There was a question a few weeks ago about where dollar stores get their stock. Do you import most yourself, or use a local distributer?

    we use local suppliers mainly, but do import some other stock too for diversity. After all, whats the point if every other dollar stores sells the same thing?
    You will notices that some items like electronics/hardwares mostly comes from the same suppliers. Because they did all the tests needed by customs.

        sorry, we don't have their cookwares. just their containers and water bottles. However, after our renovations, we may start getting their cookware lines too.
