For those wondering, it gets mostly negative reviews on steam (probably why it's being given away): http://store.steampowered.com/app/310450/

Seems to be nothing more than another clone made in RPG maker, and there's been no sign of Episode 2 either - but if this is your thing, and the price is right, why not?
