  • While I would like a nunchuck and wireless adapter, I just don't want to shop at sanity.com.au ever again. The last "sale" left me waiting for 2 weeks until they even acknowledged me then they only supplied half of my order.

    • i concur.. ordered 6 games, and received 4… and ended waiting 2 or 3 weeks.

    • +1

I bet they had too many orders in that sale. More than they were expecting.

      • -1

My story's even worse… when I asked where my order was, I was told they were waiting on 2 of the 3 items before shipping. Then a week later, they told me my whole order was cancelled >:( When I asked them about the 3rd item, no response. How professional…

  • Do you reckon these are 1st party Wii controllers?

  • +3

Just a note about the rockband instrument pack for wii. The drums and guitar will only work with rockband games and aren't compatable with guitar hero games.

  • So is the rock band instrument bundle worth getting? It gives absolutely no info on the site so I don't even know what you get with it. Does this work with Lego Rock Band?

    • Don't worry - just found out.

  • +1

+1 even if only for Midnight Club which I paid $50+ for. Great game, shame I haven't had time to play it.

  • +2

Pretty sure the delay was due to them having to recall all their products from diff stores including rural stores and such.. It's not like they did it on purpose.. Their main head office in milperra does not hold that much Game stock so yeah.. Maybe now they do since they have recalled everything probably.. Not too sure

  • Guitar hero Metallica For Wii, only a bit over $60, this a good price?

    • Wouldn't have thought so.

    • down to $35

  • Looks like its all over!

I added dead space to my cart on my iphone then turned on my laptop to do it thru there. Dead Space was gone!!

Jumped back on the iphone and was able to finish the transaction.WOOP!!

I got street figter from the last sale with no dramas.

    Thanks for the find!

    • I got Dead Space too… and just got the email saying it's been shipped. :)

      • When did you order?

    • Looks like I missed out. Clearance sale fail!

  • +1

    Don't order w/ these imbociles.

I ordered 3 games. They had 2 "in stock" and was waiting on the other. I waited 3 weeks but I was fed up and said "look, just ship the 2, I can't wait any longer. It ended up being just the 1. Why? They do NOT hold the games for you. They don't warn you that if you wait for your complete order, you're at risk of losing the games already there basically because they are not held in your name.

Save yourself drama and long phone conversations for these so called customer reps who offer no help and a "sorry, can't help you out there" mentality.

I'll never order with SANITY again.

    • Just unlucky I guess.

I ordered 4 Guitar Hero bundles and paid only $8 shipping for the lot. Got to me in 3 weeks but worth it.

  • 412 games up

  • Yep I received 2 games from my order of 7 for the last sale… and they didn't even notify my they couldn't get stock until I chased them up. Pathetic!

  • I was too slow ordering :(

Due to the limited stock and the clearout nature of the sales the following items have already been sold and were not available to ship in your order · Metallica Guitar Hero

  • DS for $73 ?? not bad… but yep I won't be ordering as most likely you won't get it.

  • Wii Fit, Wii Remote and Play are great buys

  • All my orders got rejected what a waste of time. I made 3 separate orders and they all got rejected. I can still re-order the same items on the website. At least they are not making me wait 3 weeks this time and then just canceling the order.

  • Order about an hour after this was posted and got this

Thankyou for placing an order on Sanity.com.au.

Due to the limited stock and the clearout nature of the sales the following items have already been sold and were not available to ship in your order.

  • Ugh I couldn't resist the trade bait potential… just ordered another heap… expecting about 2 games to arrive though.

    • well I had 4 games cancelled on me… still got a bunch of others tho… and apparently already shipped. They might even arrive on Xmas eve?

Will wait and see I suppose

  • it's all gone now

    • yeah, seems so. bugger.

  • +1

i have to say a big kudos to the Customer Service guy at Sanity.
2 of my games in my previous "Games Clearout" order got cancelled due to unavailability. However when i checked the site again as per Scofield's post, i noticed that the 2 games were back on the list.
i called up the Customer Service to clarify, and he was a bit puzzled. However, offered to arrange for the 2 items to be shipped to me asap with free shipping :) told him that i only needed the one game now - and it's on its way - whoohoo! :)

  • I can't see any products…are they all sold out?

  • is it over i cant see anything?

  • Just received notification that 10 of my 11 items have been shipped (I ordered them less than 1 hour ago). One game couldn't be supplied.

  • Spoke to customer service about why the sale keeps disappearing - they are periodically taking it offline so as they can see what has sold and remove the items that have sold out so as to avoid the problems that happened last time! Smart move! It'll be back online soon once the stock has been updated so be patient guys.

  • Just so you know… they've completely destroyed their games department. Sanity are no longer stocking game related items, AFAIK from information given to me by staff member last year.

Surprised to see that they are STILL clearing games…

    • They actually are stocking games still, but only on their website, not in-store.

    Halo 3
    We apologise for the inconvenience.

what a waste of time…..same thing happened in the last 'sale'….

    • So you got a confirmation of receival of an order then 2.5 hours later you received disappointing news you were too late.
And somehiow that's worth a negative?
      Poor you!
      This was posted LAST NIGHT!!
If you;re going to get upset by out of stocks, I'll expect to see negative votes from you for all posts that have expired.

      • +1

        2nd time it's happened…..
site says stock is available….I place the order….order is confirmed…..then suddenly stock is not available

Hell yes that's worth a negative!

Most other sites are able to monitor their stock list and put up a 'sold out' notice when stock has gone, thus preventing any further orders……….I'd be happy with that……"missed out….oh well…next time" - instead of this crap. (x2)
It took them 3 weeks to let me know stock wasn't available last time…..why offer it if it's not available?

  • +1

I got all 3 games I ordered from the last games clearance although not shipped right away. Now I got 5 out of 8 games from my order shipped today. I guess it's still good enough.
I bought Mercenaries 2 for $15 from HN yesterday, so I can trade 2 new games. Hopefully, JB doesn't change their list before new games coming out.

  • +1

ordered heaps of things when the sale was back up this morning with 400 things available, but only one thing in stock. so i have to pay postage for one thing. neg vote from me for sanity :P

  • +1

Yeah, same here. The postage was only worthwhile when I could spread it over multiple items. Out of the 4 that I ordered, they were only able to fill one game, so the lone game + postage made this game more expensive than what I could have got locally.

    • +1

I lodged a complaint and managed to cancel the whole order. So I guess it wasn't really 'shipped' after all.

      • 'Shipped' means that it would be packaged and awaiting pickup from either TNT or AusPost..

  • +1

Cancelled my order when only 1 game was available for my order. This mob are as bad as Catch of the Day when it comes to knowing their stock levels. As it turns out I bought a copy of Skate 2 for PS3 at lunchtime shopping and it cost me $3.95 less than it would have had I proceeded with the order!

  • I ordered two items at about midnight, a bit after 9am there was a gruff email saying both were out of stock and my order was cancelled.

It's all well and good to offer a cheap price to clear out stock, but offering stock you don't have isn't good enough.

Also, a 'sorry' in the email would've been nice.

  • Well in the last sale I ordered 4 games, and I got the 4 of them. However the main game that I wantes was street fighter but when I went to look at it, there was no plastic wrapping and the actual CD was cracked in half….
Why would they ship that crap.

I had to ship it back to them, and they said they will refund. 2 weeks later, called today to ask what is going on with the refund. And they said that they magically just got it today and will begin the refund process. Useless….

  • +1

Funny thing you don't realise is… There are no plastic wrapping for these games as it is a clearence sale and they are not getting it straight from the supplier so why would there be plastic wrapping?
And how you get the cd half cracked.. i'm pretty sure there are always cds getting damaged in transition and it's not their fault if AusPost/whatever courier decides to man-handle the games… They always check before they post the cds off….

    • Well the Case the CD was in perfect condition. If it was thrashed then I would aggree with you…. Still waiting for my refund.

  • I asked if they have any clearance games left.

"Unfortunately, we will not have another games sale through Sanity Online. I apologise for any inconvenience. Regards, Matt"

  • Received my order this afternoon as it was sent express.
Out of the 11 items I ordered they were able to supply 10 (I had already received an email about the one they couldn't supply). Some things were sealed and the rest looked like they were from stores - I ordered 2 lightsabers and the packaging is very dodgy. Will be testing the unsealed items out tomorrow (or rather the kids will be) but hopefully everything is working.
