I first followed the link and thought it was a guide on how to be a happy pirate or a boat builder course for people who frown too much…I thought it is for making Expresso coffee.

How to break the ice with regular expressions:
"Hey, it's been raining cats and dogs these few days and I'm feeling a bit under the weather. My name is _____ by the way. Nice to meet you. Let's not beat around the bush. this party is the worst. The party organiser should not give up his day job. However every cloud has a silver lining because you are hands down the best thing since sliced bread! I try not to put all my eggs in one basket, but drastic times call for drastic measures."
and then you should say
"Let's get out of here and have coffee at my place" …
"Wanna Netflix and chill?"
just finished it. wasn't able to view the videos that was part of the course as I'm at work, but it wasn't anything a quick google couldn't fix.
i rather liked the interface/presentation, and it's a great intro to regex for anyone that isn't familiar with it.
I gave it a run through too, quite a nice way to learn the basics. http://www.regular-expressions.info/ is a great resource for anyone looking to take the next step.
Thanks Crownanchor. Downloaded the pdf of the slides. Just skimmed it but seems quite well written.
