    • i think its targeted. I got one last week as well which I did not use and expired.. surprised to get another one so soon

  • +3

Interesting offer, although looks like it's limited to SYD, MEL and TAS as indicated above and potentially further limited by a possible minimum spend amount with the voucher.
Wait and see i guess but the geographical location restriction kills it off for me regardless of the voucher.

Since when did Tasmania EVER get anything good before QLD :-)

  • +2

how to search for items in this promo only? i.e. exclude all other items

    • Wondering the same thing

    • +1

  • +1

Can someone please find JUICER for me

    Thank you!

  • +2

for maximum Ozbargain value you would have to spend exactly $100(unless you were about to buy something anyway) round 1 then buy something worth exactly $50 round 2, assuming there is no minimum spend, and for those saying 33% is really generous, i don't think it's that far off 20/25% offers, something tells me Ebay have split the promo cost with Woolworths

  • Watching I already know what to get, but it depends if the voucher has minimum spend for $100 dollars as well then this is not worth doing at all. can anyone comfom

  • +2

Which Woolworths or BIG W stores can I collect from?
Participating Woolworths and BIG W stores are available across [Sydney, Melbourne and Tasmania.]

Damn. Looks like no good in other states, except possibly for BigW purchases??
    Please fix headline.

Now I'm curious, what tasks have you assigned the other 9?

  • almost order lol

  • +3

The easiest way to tell if a click and collect store is near you, is to select an item (anything from the 50back link the OP posted), and then under 'Collection: NEW FREE Click & Collect at Woolworths & BIG W', punch in your postcode/suburb.

If no stores show up, then you are not in range of a click and collect store. (i.e. if your regional like me, then there will be no stores that offer this service)

    Cheers,
    metal

    • +2
      • Hmm. That link works for me, showing 2 stores near me (20km away each). However, when I try entering either postcode during a click and collect ebay page, it shows neither store can have the item to collect from…

Maybe they are ramping up the click and collect, and by tuesday it might work for my local stores as well. Wait and see I guess.

        • Oh wait. Doh! I had to select 'ebay' on your store finder page. And yes, it comes up with no stores locally. Bugger.

          Cheers,
          metal

      • This site didn't show my local stores, but when selecting an item for C&C on ebay it showed them.

  • Do we know which sellers offers this deal?
    Thanks

  • +8

What exactly is available is a little unclear.
Ebay seem to have made a bit of mess of this. Just a simple list of retailers would be a good start.

    • +5

its not officially announced by ebay yet, just someone posting the deal ahead of time..
wait till the 28th before saying ebay have made a mess of things ;)

      • -7

Its only two days out from being live but IDK half the relevant info. Delighted to get $50 off but still think the execution is messy.

    I need a soldering iron. :(

    • Aldi such ecial buys this week

    • I do too! A good weller station at a GOOD price is like Apple products at 50% off….never finding them :(

      • +1

I am after a Hakko Fx-888D. I use the $200 Weller stations at university and they are superb, but I have heard a lot of great things about the Hakko one. I want the Fx-888D as my home one, but the prices at mektronics, element14, rs (AU) and oritech are ridiculous!

Even if Apple products were 50% off I wouldn't buy them, but I get your point. :p

The cheapest in AU for me is currently on Ebay from the mektronics distributor. I have a 10% ebay voucher, so it's $164.25.

        http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221831542827?_trksid=p2060353.m27…

        • I've used 2 weller stations in 30 years, can't say I've used the Hakko before but its spec'd well.
Radioparts in VIC have them (weller) on wholesalers specials sometime, just gotta wait for the freakin sales… And with the Aussie Dollar being as rubbish as it is ATM, joints wont be confident or accurate without wasting valuable bargain hunting time!
I have superglue holding screws on my station until then ;)

      • +1

Got the flagship Weller station a few months ago, made in Germany. Best product I've bought in a long time. So refreshing to see so much steel used. The Hakko would not come close. Got it for a song on eBay (relative to it's eye-watering new price).

      • I purchased this for ~60 wholesale using my ABN.
Good for a home DIY person who wont use it much.
Weller is more towards people who use them daily and you can leave them on all day, being that it has auto shut off capabilities.
        Happy soldering all

        • $60! My god this price is a rip off.

        • @tendollar: $60 + ebay fees + paypal fees + postage + middle-man profit

  • +2

ok, after searching all listings in click-n-collect promotions, this is the most discounted item:

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Originals-Ugg-Australia-Long-Shee…

    I will get this:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Genuine-Spigen-Klasden-3-Durable-…

  • When I clicked refinements it says -dicksmith and good guys…. Are there any t&c saying they will be excluded?

    • +1

they provide a click and collect service at their respective stores.. thus they are excluded from this deal

  • Any bicycles for $100?

    • They are free at your next council clean up.

  • +5

This is so gonna get ozbargained.

    Questions, questions and more questions.

    1. Is there a minimum spend for the $50 voucher?
    2. Does it expire and when?
    3. is it possible to refund the items at WW or BigW and keep the voucher/code?
    4. Is this offer targeted one per account?
    5. Are the voucher/ $50 codes stackable?
6.By having multi accounts does this offer work or it is per house hold?
    6. Where is Jv SHES usually in every thread?!

I think I have no more questions, cheers!

    • +2

Questions 1-5 will be answered on the 28th.

  • +3

URGENT:- Make sure that when you pick item up that you do not buy anything at Woolies or BigW unless its on special

    • only 50% discount items @ woolies ALLOWED (by my wife, not by ebay)!

so if you need milk, drive across town to get it from coles afterwards

      • +1

My point was not to fall for the bait where you end up over purchasing
It is a counterbait awareness statement so we are aware of the lure
I despise most advertising and tactics/deception/lures etc

  • +1

Can you purchase WW gift cards on eBay to pick up at Woolworths?

    • Probably not.

  • +5

OOPS! Ordered before I realised it doesnt start till the 28th. Currently waiting on a reversal request. Dang, I should read things first. HAHA!

      • +2

You'll be up for $10 at least to ship it back (plus the added risk of lost parcels, PayPal refunds etc etc) .. I would just eat the few bucks lost and it will reinforce that 'learn to read' lesson you mentioned above ;)

      • +2

Goes to PayPal website and activates your free shipping costs refund offer,

Return shipping costs are now refunded to PayPal account holders.
Up to 4 refunds to the value of $45 each on eligible purchases until 31 July 2015. Activate today and start shopping online with more confidence.

        Tada, undo your mishap.

        • +1

and the seller has to deal with a return because Jighuv can't read..

        • -2

@SBOB: Sorry about the neg but I requested a reversal 15mins after ordering. The item should never have been sent. They would should have seen the reversal request with the order.

        • Thanks man…forgot I activated that about 2 months ago I think, that will do, and the other a#$holes that are criticizing me can go and buy a non returnable item for way too much themselves next time. Strike one win for me. hehe.

      • +5

You don't bother reading, run off and buy a drive for $30 more than you should have and now the seller is an A&^$hole and your looking for dodgy ways to get out of your purchase and have someone else cover the cost!

You made a mistake, accept the consequences and use it as a lesson.

        • -2

I'm not looking for dodgy anything, they have a 30 day returns policy and I requested the reversal 15 min after ordering. Everything is on the level except they dont read any mail that comes with their orders. NOT MY PROBLEM now I have been reminded about the paypal returns offer.

        • +2

          @Jighuv:

Maybe if I dont pickit up from Safeway they will send it back?

          Hmmmm…sounds dodgy to me.

I'm not looking for dodgy anything…

I disagree but you come across as one of those "It's not my fault!" whiny types so I won't push it.

        • -1

@OzBragain: Well I got an email from the seller….
"If you can ask the postman return the item to sender, the postage is free." (sic)
Me dodgy? Looks like its contagious. Anyway I was angry when I said that and I will be using the Paypal returns offer. Also don't forget they have a 30 day return policy. 3 wins for me, try again fellas. hehehe.

        • @Jighuv:

So now Australia Post will be covering your stupid mistake with a dodgy RTS and passing the cost on to other customers. At least you got an outcome you're happy with.

        • -2

@OzBragain: now who isn't reading things. I'm using the Paypal returns offer, Paypal pays. Give it up dude, I won. Nothing dodgy happened and I received all my money back. Not a problem.
