The lines for this are gonna be enlarged on Wednesday - not sure how hot this particular brand is but it will surely be a good conversation starter at dinner parties no?

Just home from grocery shopping at my local Aldi - while it's still a bit early for me to prepare a proper meal to add it to, I tried some of this chilli sauce from the bottle and I reckon it's got a very good flavour, so certainly see it adding a bit of zing to a meal.

This is the assorted chilli collection I used to have at my desk in London in 2013, it was much larger when I left in Sept 2014 :) - I really like spicy/chilli food! While I def would like something with much more chilli zing, this Aldi one has some nice garlic/vinegar hints to it too which I think combine well. Surprised the ingredients only say 50% chilli (never bothered to look at how this compares to other similar products, even the ones from my work collection. but thought it would be more than 50%?), then sugar, vinegar, garlic, salt, water. On the whole, while it might not be the original/authentic that people are mentioning, I still rate it pretty well in terms of flavour, but average in terms of chilli hotness!
Yum.
Great! Thank you. I'll get a bottle later on tonight. I liked this type of sauce for its not so hot and tangy flavour

Has anyone tasted it yet? Seriously.. How does it compare ? In general from my experience Aldi do alright for similar items.
