Hortex Budget Garden Gloves @ Bunnings - $1.98

32

Following the recent 'Glove Frenzy' on Ozbargain, i thought i would post these little beauties in case you missed out previously, or if you would prefer to have your gloves in hand sooner rather than waiting days for Staples to deliver.

Perfect for gardening, protecting your hands while lifting things or just for demanding satisfaction and challenging other people to a duel.

Yes, you will pay a little bit more for convenience but it shouldn't break the bank at under $2 a pair - maybe go halves with a friend if the sole purpose is for demanding satisfaction - you will only need one for that anyway!

The joke became stale after a while

      • No joke…

          Indeed

        • It's about the going rate.

Worth buying 2 pairs to double up left/right pairs, then give them to someone and giggle like a school girl watching them put them on.

A few months ago these were selling at $1.00 per pair at Supercheap Auto if I'm not wrong…

Most things were cheaper in the good ol' days.

With the staples deals sold out or expired, these may be the cheapest readily accessible gloves in this fair land.

    • yes, a few weeks ago these were $1 at my local super cheap….

Cool story - jump in your delorean and grab me a pair will you? While you are there, be sure to post it on ozbargain

      • Ah those were the days $1 gloves, the world has gone to crap since then

  • Looks like Bunnings is buying these from Staples.

    • Possible… sharing the glove

      • Sharing the G-love?

  • These are usually like $5 or $6 for 3 pack at KMart. Don't know the brand but they are similar styling.

  • Regular price, not a bargain.

  • LOL @ Glove Frenzy.

Do these run on eneloops? Can they be used in a dishwasher with finish quantum tablets?

    • Not to be used for inserting SD cards.

my experience with these gloves (for gardening) is they are really crap, tear very easily and so are worth nothing.
Worth paying more for decent gloves that are 'fit for purpose'.

Plus I'm pretty sure last time I bought these from Bunnings I paid $10 for 5 pairs, so this is normal price. I guess that should have been my tip - you're only going to need 5 pairs if they disintegrate easily
