Was looking for a PS4 Camera and they seemed to average out in the $70's Target has a special "reduced from $89 to $69"
Went to Costco and there it was for $49.97 and note it was NOT on sale, it appears to be the "normal" price

i can't help you justifying your purchase, but if your interested in sharing your gameplay, taking a screenshot or interested in having your trophy moments recorded (all feasible activities for gamers) then this is a pretty neat little camera. One key bad feature is that close proximity to a TV speaker can set off the D pad button which can set off a map or something. I had this happen to me all the time playing Tomb Raider…
Thanks for the explanation… It's odd that you need an external camera to share gameplay video and screenshot… I think I'll hold of on getting one until the Morpheus comes out…
Best use is skype but xbone kinect is better as it zooms and follows

Can i ask what the ps4 camera is for ? I was interested in getting one but then realise that there are hardly any games that use it (except just dance ) will it be needed for Morpheus to work or are there any good games coming out that require it (for PS move maybe ?)
I want a good reason to justify me purchasing it. ..
