  • Please put the price plus shipping in the title.

  • Not 100% sure it is the same, but it is only $209.95 here:

    • Apart from both having 96 x 3 watt crees nothing like each other. One is short and fat, the other long and bendy (ooh er).

      • One is short and fat, the other long and bendy (ooh er).

        That's what she said…

      • Yeah but a bit of searching will probably find the same one.

    Just done, sorry Mate.

  • Is it me, or are these things a bit of a toss? Can't beat HID spotties IMO.

    • +2

      Yes, you can.

      • nvm, what I was getting at is mentioned below.

    • +1

It's you. Spots are great for the open road but not much use on bush tracks.

Do you have a video of these in action at night?
If you don't, you should make one, it WILL increase your sales. :)

Good idea, we will put one together. :)

      • Good man. Do this for you main products (highest margin and lowest priced easily moved stock) to show people why your lights are better than the eBay cheapies. :)

  • Have you tried one Mate?

For the power these draw and the cost of them they are epic!

This could go in the bedroom so I can see what I'm doing.

  • i'm not doubting this is bright, but 96 X the brightness of a real 3 watt Cree light? not likely, if every one of those 96 Cree leds was driven at 3 watts it would need a massive amount of heatsinking to run at more than say 5 minutes, in reality most Cree leds are under driven(particularly in cheaper lights) but the claims given are the absolute maximums under perfect conditions

Can you confirm they actually consume 288W, not ChinaWatts?

  • Not sure of the model number, but I was out in a 4wd on a firewood run about a month ago and the 4wd had one of these on the front.
The white light was insane and vision in the bush and dirt tracks was awesome.
On the highway on the way home, it was great. Easily spotted roos ahead on the sides of the road.
Not sure about the legalities as far as power and public road use goes, so you may need to research that for driving in the burbs.

    • Legal to use as a supplement to high beam. Outside of built up areas

      • Not in NSW. I chased it up at christmas time with the RTA guys. After finding what was required legally for Driving/Spot lights I started checking 4x4's around carparks while shopping, and most were running non compliant setups. From memory, the big issue was that it was physically impossible to get them separated the required distance and fit between the existing vehicle lights. Light bars and flood lights are only to be used off road.
