    The AU Version is censored in some way (not sure what's been modified, but i'm getting the US version to enjoy all the gore).

      Wasn't there less blood in the AU version or something previously?

      Maybe they're going to put in green blood… or the SNES MK way and substitute it for sweat?

        I think there was less blood in AU yes, I had it and can't say I ever noticed though until I was told after I had finished the game.

        Yeah, the PS3 version was modified too, and like you, I didn't know that when I played it either.

        They took out the close up views of kills on God of War Ascension to make them appear less brutal/bloody, so perhaps that's what they've done here. I don't know.

        Like ohhidayo said… What's the point of the R18+ classification?

        Did the developers offer up the "Original" version and it got refused, or did they just play it safe and offer the "Modified" version to ensure it would get classified and possibly to increase sales?

        You'd think in this day and age they could release a game like this, have it with full blood and gore, right down to a version that has unicorns and rainbows, depending on what level the parental lock is set to on the console.

        @Graffin: it's rather expensive to submit a game to our classification board apparently (in comparison to much larger markets) so yeah I'd wager many publishers play it safe here.

        You probably won't notice it. I didn't on the PS3 version. It's not until someone tells you and you compare the screenshots or gameplay video on YouTube that you see the subtle differences. I ended up paying $62 for it from Amazon (the pre-order theme is awesome).

        There's plenty of comparisons for GoW:Ascension, but AFAIK with God of War III, there's just less blood. Apparently the trophy names have been changed on the PS4 release as well… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRpO44g25DA

        I guess it's too soon to know what's been "Modified". I'm sure it won't be anything as severe as the cuts in South Park : The Stick Of Truth. Most people probably won't even notice, and it's considerably cheaper buying it from Big W!

    Yeah I now buy them for the kids around a gen and a half back (12 months or so after release) I've bought them Swap Force for WiiU and 3DS(x2) and a load of the figures for less than $40 thanks to BigW.

  Disney 2.0 starter pack is not bad for $29. But the savings will most likely be spent back to buy additional figures. It is worse than selling you a base game and then a never-ending list of DLC. They want to get even more money from you by having some 'rare' figures.

    Just wait for 3.0 to release, it is coming in a few months. Price will fall on 2.0 and then even more in sales.

  Had I never played GoW3 I'd certainly consider that - but otherwise nah :/
  They should've just done 1,2,3,Ascension, PSP games, mega pack again for like a full $75 US ($120 AU) or some shit - I reckon it would've sold ok

  The Disney Infinity 2.0 Aladdin and Jasmine 2-pack for $12 is a good deal because you can't get those two power discs from blind packs.
